Supermagical seems pretty good so far - basically Puzzle Bobble with a nice diverting story mode.

Just to say that a game is now out. I have tried said game. I have no idea why said game took them so long - it's pretty much got the same backend as their last game. Still, two primarily free games in one year - must be quite the money spinner.

Reckless Racing 2 is free at the moment.

Not played it yet but I very much enjoyed the first one.

EDIT: Thor - Son of Asgard is currently free also. Looks like the 3DS game. Got to be worth a punt for free, no?

Been working my way through the HD editions of Back to the Future on iPad. Damn it's good, they captured the feel and adventure of the films perfectly!

Well it should be, Reversi's a perfectly cromulent game. Sticking some animals on it doesn't change that. When you don't have to worry about having AI which is fun to play against, it's not a difficult thing to make fun.

What annoys me most about these freemium/townbuilding games is that they all LOOK like Theme-Hospital, or Sim-City or what-not, yet none of them play like it.

The fact that the latest ThemePark game itself was actually a freemium town builder makes me think that the genre of old will never actually exist on iOS, despite being really well suited to the devices.

Star Command, originally scheduled for release in Summer 2010 I think, 2 kickstarters later and it's still "Coming Soon".

So, Middle Manager of Justice went live accidentally last night! For those of you who jumped on it right away, you got an early preview for the game! Please note that the game isn’t indicative of what it should be yet! All the bugs will be ironed out, and there is much tuning to be done. For those of you that have the game now, any feedback regarding the game is welcome and appreciated! If you’ve already have purchased something in game, please note that it will still work when the game is updated. You can keep playing if you wish, but you should really wait for the full release in the coming weeks.

My favourite levels in Rayman Origins by far were the red tooth ones, the ones where you have to chase a chest and timing is everything.

Here's the new Rayman game for iOS, out in two weeks:

The beauty of those levels in Origins were that you basically never had to stop, so it was all about the timing of your jumps and stuff. Means that even though this auto-runs for you, it should play almost exactly the same as those levels.

Oh, also, Temple Run: Brave is free.

And Super Hexagon, from Terry Cavanagh wot made VVVVVV is out too. You control a triangle and can turn clockwise or anti-clockwise, and you have to avoid the solid blocks coming in at you. It's 69p (launch sale), hard as fuck, and entirely ace.
