Are there any RPGs that play like Knights of the Old Republic yet? iPad preferably.

I'm not bothered for Undercroft and the like (I think it will play totally different from what I've read) but something with skill trees, perks, equipable armour & weapons would be great with pseudo realtime combat. Is there anything like that available?

Uh... there's Rimelands : Hammer of Thor... seem to remember that had skill trees and the like... it was pretty linear though. I enjoyed it up to a point but never finished it- the story was okay but didn't grab me. It's not nearly as involving or details as something like KOTR though.

I mean, it sort of ticks the boxes you're looking for, but I think if you went in expecting a similar experience to KOTR you'd end up a bitter and angry man.

It just seems a little clunky to me. Getting ridof the tilt mechanic and adding in a 3-lane thing just ruins it for me, makes movement too clunky I think.

Anyone looking for another decent Temple Run homage should check out The End App.

What did I do wrong on Happy Street? Last night it asked me if I wanted to unlock the mountains, I clicked ok but then nothing happened. Shortly after I had the task to make some paper and a pen, which I did, but still no mountain.

The pen and paper task is only the first step. You have a total of 8 tasks to do before you can fly to the mountain. I'm on task 5 of 8 at the moment.

Hi chaps, in particular TTK, Goose and Teeohbee - sorry to see that you haven't been enjoying Agent Dash.

It's been a pretty frantic development with a fair bit of infrastructure being established for some other upcoming stuff. As such, some bits of Dash itself have been implemented less successfully than others. Hopefully we'll get the opportunity to refine it in future updates, though - I'm busy compiling a list of tweaks and additions based on general forum feedback and you guys certainly aren't alone with your complaints; it's something I've absolutely taken on board and am looking at ways to address.

My hope is that it'll all eventually settle down into a product that everyone enjoys a little more.

Cheers :)

Cheers for that - if it's any help, my daughter adores the game and it's surpassed Temple Run as her most played game. (Though I could do without the "Can you get this far, dad" every 5 minutes :D)

So I downloaded Judge Dredd Vs Zombies the other day- I'd ignored it when it came out because it looked a bit crap- anyway, turns out I was totally wrong. It's actually really enjoyable, nails the feeling of Dredd, and has a decent scoring mechanism where you need to keep your 'badge' filled by chaining kills and filling up the 'Dredd' nametag (as you can see below)- the better you do, the higher the score multiplier.

It's fairly simple stuff, three different areas, thirty levels overall, three types of zombies- your average shamblers, and then the obligatory Left4Dead tributes with Boomers and Hunter types. You get credits for finishing levels which you can put towards upgrading your weapons- the shotgun is a beast, especially when it's fully upgraded.

I really enjoyed the hell out of this, so much so I'm going through every level trying to get three stars and a commendation (which you get for finishing the level without letting the chain meter run out, without being injured and with finding all the Judge badge collectibles in the level).

It's free as well.

Today the Gamebook Adventures series from Tin Man Games are on sale. The same guys who made the new Judge Dredd one - they have lots of original fantasy storybooks, with interactive dice rolling etc.

Also who else is on Happy Street? I'd like some more neighbours.

Yeah, they're pretty good. They were a bit buggy before but I think updates sorted it out. Enjoyment might depend a little on the nostalgia factor if you ever played them as a kid, but I think Warlock of Firetop Mountain is still a cracking wee adventure story.

Is there anyone up for some Pocket Heroes fun?

I downloaded it but noone on my Game centre friends appears to be playing it.

(Also TTK I'm going to add you for Happy Street (oh the shame!))

You can both add me on Happy Street if you like - smackie1973

There's a few of us playing at the moment including me, Asura, SaintM and Gosvpg but it's slow progress, haven't even completed the first mission yet and it's been about a week.

I think perhaps it's best played in pairs, even if you don't have all the RPG class-bases covered, as at least that the game should move at a slightly quicker pace.

I'm up for a game if you want, my ID is Teeohbee.

Despite myself I'm finding Happy Street strangely enthralling. The combination of bright colours, sedate pace, and rustic music create a pleasantly relaxing experience. It's not as charming as Animal Crossing, the inhabitants don't have a great deal of character beyond their initial cuteness. Sitting there snaring passers-by, restocking the stalls and tapping Poopy the bird, it doesn't really matter there isn't tons going on somehow. Mind you, I'm itching to get leveled up so I can build some more stuff.
