Hopefully it'll still be there tomorrow when everyone gets their brand spanking new iPads.

Has the recent publicity, BAFTA nom, redesign, new icon etc. provided a noticeable uplift in you folks' wages?

Also, Espgaluda II HD is now universal (for iPhone 4 and above only). The graphics look absolutely beautiful on a retina screen, but the framerate is a bit wonkaloid on an iPhone 4; probably a lot nicer on a 4S.

Did you get this as an update? I bought it when it first came out and it still runs in iPhone-o-vision on my iPad.

I'll be mildly annoyed if I have to buy it again just to make it universal.

Cave, in their infinite fucking wisdom, have been massively inconsistent in their iOS releases, so that some releases are universal, Retina-enabled apps, and some aren’t. With Espgaluda II, they published an iPhone app that wasn’t universal, and subsequently published an HD version of the game that only worked on the iPad. They’ve just updated the HD version, so that it runs on the iPhone 4 & 4S, which is a bit annoying if you’ve previously bought the iPhone version.

So, if you’ve only got the iPhone version, then there’s no update AFAIK – you would need to buy the HD version to get the proper Retina graphics (which are lovely, even though the iPhone 4 can’t quite handle it at the proper smoothness. They’ve just released a new HD version of Dodonpachi Resurrection, in addition to the iPhone one they put out ages ago. Fuck you, Cave!

I was about to ask what is new about the HD version of DoDon and ESP. Just crisper graphics eh. Well, you can not go wrong with that but I have the "old" iPhone 4 and according to the sales text and you lot the framerate is wonky on that. Might just skip the HD version for now, already have the SD versions.

Hey guys, New Star Soccer is now on iOS! It's free to download and play the Arcade mode, whilst it's 69p to unlock the Career mode.

I would love to hear your comments!

Really liking it. having never played any of the NSS games before its a nice little game to just pick up and play for 5 minutes or a little longer.

I agree with the comments about a taster or the career mode to get into the game and 10 games sounds about right
