Argh, enscripted. Have we discussed todays one? I'm totally stuck :(

I think I got a bit lucky on today's, a couple of the letters were in the right place so with the obvious bits I managed to suddenly spot a couple of words.

Still stuck on yesterday's and the day before's.

I got Enscripted yesterday when someone mentioned it was free and it's absolutely fantastic, yesterday's quite took me about an hour to get but the others I got much more quickly.

Does anyone know if I can download earlier quotes? I can only find the ones from last week or so and I need to feed my addiction.

Does everyone get different starting letters for Enscripted, then? Have we tested?

I think I'll ask for hints if I go a week without solving one.

I'm pretty sure it's random, it can be a massive boost when a couple key letters are given at the start

No, it came up earlier in the thread, it comes day by day so you still get a year's worth of puzzles

If anyone hasn't done so yet, it could be worth having a look at the tutorial in Enscripted, as it offers a few basic steps as to what you can look for to solve puzzles.

Today's shouldn't be too tough. No actual hints here, really, just advice on the order to approach it.

"A'b" can really only be one of two things, and the second word of the title is "Bacc," so there'll be very few candidates for that. Then you've got a decent chunk of the third word of the title too.

Sliiightly more revealing.

"A" in the above spoiler has to be "I," there's nothing else it can be. If you ever put an "I" in the third last spot in a word, the first thing you'll want to try is to put "ng" after it.

Got today's Enscripted no problem, but still having trouble with yesterday.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure I've approached it right.

I just got it, try and figure out the film title and the letters you get out of that should make you twig the line.

^ Consider me well and truly embarassed. Not only did I get the wrong day, but showed my incompetence :blush:

Speaking of timings though, is it just me or do people feel instead of the ranking Enscripted currently use of how many you've done, it would be great to see how quickly you managed to do them?

I see that Pokemon Yellow is riding high at number 3 in the App Store Top 25 at the minute, it's refreshing to see a company like Nintendo embracing iOS.
