Can someone help me with something? I saw an ad saying Galaxy on Fire 2 is £2.99 for a little while (normally it's £ 8) so I was going to get it. When I look on the store with my iPhone 4, I can find Galaxy on Fire 1, Galaxy on Fire 2 Lite and Galaxy on Fire 2 HD. However, the description for the HD app says it's optimised for iPad 2 and iPad 4S, and you should get the "regular" version if you have the iPad 1/iPhone4/iPhone 3GS - but I can't seem to fine the "regular" version. Anyone know why?

From a bit of a google...

Hello everybody,

Unfortunately, the synchronization of save games between all iOS versions of Galaxy on Fire 2, which was about to be added with the current update, did cause a number of problems for both the SD and HD versions of the game. Right now, our developers are trying their best to find a solution for those problems and we will, of course, keep you posted as soon as there are any news.

The problems caused by the new update are as follows:

- In the SD version of GOF2 it seems as if all of your old save games have disappeared and it is also not possible to restore them via Open Feint. However, those save games have NOT been deleted and we will be able to restore them with the next update. Please do not delete Galaxy on Fire 2 from your device or else your old save games will indeed be lost for good.

- In both versions of GOF2 (SD and HD) it is currently not possible to make in-app purchases. Hence you are neither able to make use of the new credit packs nor to unlock Valkyrie and Kaamo Club at the moment. We will surely solve this glitch with the next update as well.

- In order to avoid further complications, we have removed the regular version of Galaxy on Fire 2 from the App Store for the time being. We will upload it again as soon as everything is fixed and the lost save games have been restored.

We are very sorry for the inconveniences and will let you know as soon as everything works fine again.

All the best,

Your FISHLABS Team

I'm hopeless at Enscripted. I don't even know where to start, and I give up after about 4 seconds.

Depends on the quote, but there are some basic starting points.

Single letters are always I or A, and you can usually tell which based on whether or not it's capitalised.

A'x - can only be I'D (EDIT: or I'M)

ab'x - the X will be D or S.

abc'x - the X will be a D, S or T.

Then there are things like looking for patterns. If two words end with the same pattern of three letters they're very likely to be ING.

For a lot of puzzles, that alone is enough to fill in enough letters to solve the rest of it word by word. For other puzzles, you need to play around a bit more. Like, in today's quote that I posted before, the chances are that that last word is someone's name because it begins with a capital letter. It also has a double-letter in it, so if I can't make any progress I'll probably be trying to think of names that fit that pattern and seeing where it gets me.

Yeah, that actually made it much harder. I got one letter right in the first word and realised what it was from there. It's quite a famous quote, TTK.

Yeah, it didn't take as long as I thought. I tried the age-old trick of seeing what letter was most common in the code and swapping it for the most commonly used letters in the English language, and the shape of the quote jumped out at me.

Embarrassingly enough, I didn't know what film it was from, so the title mis-spelling didn't affect me.

So im on 7 minutes. 3 getting it 'right', 4 trying to figure out the misspelling. Can someone just tell me the answer? Is it often wrong? As I'll not bother playing if it's just going to wind me up.

The second word of the film title is...

Macguire

As far as I know this is the first incorrectly spelt one. Hope it doesn't continue!

Rebuild (the zombie sim city type rebuilding game) is great... only played a half hour or so but can see it becoming a regular favourite. Won't download from the app store at the moment due to some bug which apparently they're trying to fix- so had to gift it to a second email account of mine, and download it off the laptop. Glad I did though, it's the kind of zombie game I've been wanting to play for ages- it's all about scouting, resource management and preservation.

I emailed the guy behind Enscripted and got this:

Firstly, please accept a massive apology for the two typos you've had. There isn't really a good excuse for it - they should have been checked more thoroughly before they went out - especially for a game of this nature. So a big apology to you personally, and all the guys on the forum.

I've been through all the 366 quotes and checked as throughly as I can for any errors - the only one I've found left is coming up in August and I'm busy writing an update which will fix that on your phones before the time comes. So please don't lose faith in Enscripted!

:)
