Did a bit more digging and hunters has been out for nearly a year - didn't they add in more in the way of a proper story?

Not sure I've not been back to it in a long time, got bored & moved on

After stumbling across a "potential best of 2012" it appears a hunter follow up is in he works. That has more of a story. Seems little point in buying the first then...

I must say that the actual football matches start to wear a bit thin after a while. Very little involvement and very samey action. It should have a skip button and calculate the result which would basically achieve the same thing.

I've given up on it now.

The annoyances like a corner being stopped as the ball is in the air because its the end of the game.. or the lack of any sort of fouls/cards/injuries.. or the way a draw is treated the same as a loss, even in cup games, just add up until it's just no fun to play.

Basically, it just feels tired and half arsed so I've gone back to the far superior Grand Pix Story.

Ive played it, its not great but you kinda get used to the controls after a while. bit jerky on the Iphone 4 though.

Dunno how long it will be available for since its completly rips of mario kart. When i say that you might say "but you could say that about any kart game". No, i mean it rips off the track designs and items completly!

Oh Namco...

Namco Bandai brought some of their 80s arcade games to iPhone. You can get Xevious, Phozon, Motos, and Tower of Druaga now. And just like actual arcade machines, you need to put in credits to play them.

Each day, you get one free play. After that, ten credits cost 80 yen ($1). Sure, each play is less than an actual arcade game (those are at least 100 yen), but 10 cents per Tower of Druaga credit seems a bit steep.

Didn't Capcom already do something like that? Couldn't you get their Arcade and then pay by play, or just shell out a couple of quid to buy each game outright?

Namco's Galaga 30th Anniversary app, you get one game free, but have to pay for the others if you want.

I think I might've caused a bug in Sword and Sworcery.

I was fighting the Dark Moon Trigon as my second Trigon, I got to the late stage when it flings the little triangles at me, and I died. Then I woke up, and not only did it act as though I'd won - I got back up and went and collected the Trigon. And it said I was in a Time Paradox in the menu, which normally only happens if I change the moods of the moon.

Weird. Continuing as normal as though I had beaten it legitimately.
