Diamond Mine in the new Bejeweled is pretty moreish. Match 3 mixed with Miner Dig Deep, stupidly compelling stuff.

by MEA Mobile Limited? (no ratings and one screenshot)

I rolled out an update to Endless Lines just before xmas which adds a (hard) time attack mode, 15 seconds to start with, a little extra time for every block you clear. I also added a better tutorial. If you do happen to give it a go I welcome any feedback you have.

Not convinced by this one, if I've got the right one, I think it'd be better if all the diamonds were there from the start rather than the next appearing when you collect one so you have to traverse the maze multiple times.

Don't think you've got the right one there.

Edit: sorry, missed your previous post - no Popcap's Bejeweled.

If you turn off the tilt controls in Sonic Racing, and turn on the slider control scheme, it's probably the best game of its type on the iPhone.

Admittedly that isn't saying much as I struggle to think of any others, but it's true in any case.

It got really high reviews, but I think that was just because it was a really high profile game, with a really solid 3D engine - back when 3D iPhone games weren't very common.

Why are Nintendo not releasing lite versions of their games on iOS, cut down editions with adverts for the 3DS every 10 seconds?

Seems like they're missing the boat to me on a great, free, form of advertising.

Because they have never released on a another platform. Especially one where the going rate would be 69p for their titles.

Mark me as another one chart didn't like Sonic Racing, and I bought it when it came out!

better 30 people buy something for 69p than not one of them buy a 3DS.

Surely it would increase the chances of non-gamers seeing a cheap / lite game and thinking, this might just be worth buying.

Missed opportunity, backward thinking marketing department.

I don't think there's any likelihood of us seeing one of Nintendo's headline games on iOS for a very long time. Apple customers wouldn't pay more than a few quid for Mario Kart and Nintendo won't want to devalue their AAA games and hurt their core products. Where they are missing a big opportunity is by not making cheaper titles specifically for iOS. There must be millions of customers who would buy a top-down Mario Kart type game or any number of other tie-ins.

It'd be the end of their 3DS business if they did that. I mean, I see the business sense, but it's very much an either-or thing when releasing the game at 69p means that nobody in their right mind is going to pay £25 for it on another platform.

Im not suggesting a full released, I'm talking about the aforementioned cut down versions, which please people who will not want to buy a 3ds, but may entice people who otherwise might not buy a 3ds, as well as sell to the millions of nintendo fans which have an iphone.

I'm surprised they haven't at least tried to get the Game and Watch series on there, they'd be perfect 69p impulse buys.
