I found it when searching mame as instructed, just a shame you can't get iDos so i can't get the games onto it :S

You don't need iDOS, you need iExplorer (formerly 'iPhone Explorer'): http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/ . That allows you to navigate your iPhone's filesystem and drop, say, 'files' into the appropriate folder in iMame.

I wouldn't bother though, unless you have one of those iCade things. The controls are shit.

I'm surprised iMame doesn't allow you to copy the roms across in iTunes. The version I built with my dev account lets me.

Probably because that would've been an instant red flag in the approval process, and it was a pretty ballsy attempt to slip it under the radar as it was. I'm amazed it got in and stayed up for as long as it did!

No, you can still use it as you've "purchased it". VLC is the same, pulled but still works if you already had it before it was pulled. The only thing that should stop it working is if a future OS changes something it relys on, but that will be a coincidence rather than a determined move by Apple.

My own game, gerball, has been updated to V1.1.

New things:

Universal support

Smoother graphics - 60FPS instead of 30FPS

Improved graphics

Improved world leaderboards - see all scores instead of just top 10

New levels

Available for a bargain 69p during Christmas - normal price is £1.99

Happy Christmas :)

I was quite excited at the prospect of Zen Pinball, unfortunately it has a couple of issues that mean I won't be bothering with it until a couple of releases down the line. Strike One is, despite being Game Centre enabled, you have to sign up to Openfeint if you want stuff like leaderboards and automatic notification of beating friends' scores (the best part of Pinball FX on the 360). Apparently the devs have said they might introduce proper Game Centre support at some point down the line. Strike Two is that the if you download tables for it, the way it's set up means that your iPhone/Pad will automatically delete them as part of memory management occasionally. You can redownload them again for free, but still this is hardly ideal. On the devs site they've said they're in discussions with Apple over methods they might use to get around this. Shame as the core game seems pretty good.

Is there any recourse when you buy a game which is just broken? I bought trivial pursuit over Christmas, and now scribblenauts for the ipad (1) and neither work correctly, both crash quickly and are just totally broken.

Doesnt matter when it's the best pinball game on the device.

151mil on the free table! (which is the best table in my opinion)
