Anybody else played temple run? It's a well put together endless running game, completely free with an in game currency system and IAPs, although you can unlock everything without paying a penny.

It's got a really good learning curve / unlock system.

I had a quick blast of IB2 on my iPhone 4 last night - it seemed to me to perform smoother than the original, although definitely started to chug a bit the longer I played it and it takes aaaages to launch the app. But still, so far seems a fair bit better than the original.

Yup, I'm nuts about it...curiously satisfying to play whilst listening to a podcast. I'm currently top of my friends by a long chalk, so anyone playing this please add me!

Hup!

Damn, infinity blade 2 is tempting, in what way has it improved the original (which I loved). Im almost loathe to abandon the first one though as I am still trying to grind my way to some of the higher stat weapons. Which actually is something I would like see addressed in 2, the weapons being more attainable, some of them are clearly only going to be open to those who buy the in game currency.

Yes. Although I probably should have just finished off the first game instead, because it's basically exactly the same.

Yeah, your not wrong. I bought it as I got a lot of miles out the first one. This one seems slightly more polished (which considering the first one was Mr Sheenesque thats no mean feat)although so far not really seeing any game play improvements. Few additions like being able to add gems to weapons, but thats about it. Did someone mention there are three styles of fighting?

It does seem a bit tougher to read the enemies attacks though, but I probably just need to get accustomed to the new animations.

Also I think it has been more designed with the ipad in mind this time. It seems some of the items are only collectable as the screen is moving around between fights, and some are hidden or very very small (on an iphone screen). Im pretty sure in the original even though you could collect items while the camera was in dynamic mode you could wait and collect them all when it stopped.

Im sure I will still get a good few hours out of it, and hopefully some more elements open up later as I progress.
