Can anyone recommend a few good apps for a four year old girl? We've got a £15 voucher so a few paid one is fine. She's got -

Anyone know of a game that's like those wooden mazes with the ball bearing you had as a kid?

Thanks

Labyrinth is exactly one of those wooden mazes with the ball bearing you had as a kid. Quite old in iOS terms (was an original launch title for the App store, or available shortly thereafter). There's a lite version so you can taste test.

Anyone else playing Junk Jack?

It's a total 2D minecraft clone but I'm really enjoying it!

I'm wandering around finding stuff but I haven't yet found a recipe that's useful or that I have the materials to make. Do I just have to dig (And all that tapping is annoying) until something randomly drops that I need?

Pretty much!

They added a beginners guide to the game in the last update which is worth reading as it gives you a few recipes for tools and basic things. The tools especially help with the tapping (although there is still plenty of it!)

My little den at the moment:

I can't actually seem to craft anything. I put the correct items in the correct places in my crafting window and there's no way to create the item.

*Edit* All of a sudden it started working. Then crashed on me without saving. Now it's not working again

*Edit2* And the same thing again. Starts working randomly. Craft a few items. Crash

*Edit3* Reinstalled and it's all working. Rather nifty game. How do you make those wooden walls?

That isn't an Evony style game where you have to spend masses of real cash to play is it? Because if it isn't I'm going to try that.

My only experience is of the original Amiga title! from all I've read about this I pad version, there's no mention of any in app purchasing of any kind so should be cool. I think this is a one man labour of love rather then a business to fuck peeps over, I'm genuinely considering selling my Xoom and getting an I pad just for this lol

Does anyone fancy a multiplayer game of Starbase Orion? Add me if you do and I'll send an invite - GC tag is Jashin.

Oh god, just looked at this on the app store and I see they are comparing it to Master of Orion. I think MoO2 is one of my most played games EVER. Looks like Starbase Orion is getting bought when I get home.

There's something not quite right with the industry when this type of question is asked!

Yes - it is. I don't like the controls, but most people don't mind as much as I do. Story is great and there's tons of content.

I dunno.

If Skyward Sword was available on the iPhone for £1.99 and used touch screen controls I doubt I'd be recommending it to anyone.

FWIW I thought Chinatown wars was awesome on the DS but this version just does not control well enough for me to recommed it to anyone (at any price).

When price is such a small issue, the commodity of time becomes the important factor. Would you recommend someone watches Big Brother because there's loads of content and it's free?
