Has anyone tried Minter's new one yet? Despite him always calling it Goat Goes Up if you search for that on the app store you won't find it. Search for GoatUp or Llamasoft instead. He's changed the name for some reason. I like it but I'm having trouble getting a handle on the inertia in the controls. I suspect it'll be much easier with a stick. Shame he's decided to release iCade support for that last :facepalm:

I downloaded this earlier today. It's really very good indeed. Is it an original creation or a clone of something I'm just not familiar with? (I mean, I know it looks vaguely like Nebulus but doesn't play like it.)

The way each zone changes the gameplay as well as the audiovisual theme is a pleasant surprise.

It's very easy to imagine it as a Bubble Bobble-era coin-op.

I'm not sure if the lack of randomisation will eventually hurt its longevity, but from a couple of hours play it's up there with Minotaur Rescue for me (both towering above the rather meh Minotron 2112).

Anyway, HYPERSHIP OUT OF CONTROL IS OUT! Get it now, or I swear to god I will hunt you down and -1 a single one of your posts. You won't know which post, you won't know when I'll strike, but I will. MUAHAHAHAHETC

Also, if some people download it then it means I won't have to bother everyone all the time by saying how ace it is, because everyone will already know :)

I think that title search might be working by the title that appears on the iOS screen (which is often abbreviated) rather than the title on the App Store page.

I hardly ever connect my iPhone to my PC any more. Can't wait for wireless syncing to be honest.

If there's a flash sale on I sometimes do the same as 1812, download the game and then delete it. It's then in your purchase history for when you want to download it again, and no fannying about on a computer.

You should have seen the look on my mums face when she bought a book for her new kindle on the amazon website and then came to ask me how to load it up onto the device. When I pointed to the previously empty book list and the newly purchased title was there, she looked as if she had witnessed genuine witchcraft.

It's kinda here. If I download something in iTunes on my PC now, it automatically also downloads it to my iPod Touch, without the two ever being connected. Freaks me out a bit, to be honest.

My ADSL is far too slow to be dealing with that kind of black sorcery.

Drawrace2 is fun but why does it never work when I try to challenge a friend? '[friend] can't be notified' indeed.

Can anybody recommend some decent turn-based multiplayer games please besides Disc Drivin'?

Most of my gaming on iOS is spent on two turns based games - Carcassonne and Ascension. Highly recommend both :)

I'll look into Ascension, thanks. Carcassonne is six quid which seems a bit much for an iOS game as much as I love the XBLA version.
