Ive managed to jailbreak my iPad and install imame4all. Bit confused how to put roms on there from my mac - do I need an ssh client or something?

You should try cuberduck or fugu.

Too bad there isn't a program as good as winscp for the mac

No one on my friends list tried Extreme Road Trip yet? It's in top 25 free apps atm, it's a great little just one more go game. Basically you cartwheel your car to keep it boosting, and see how far you can get. 2687M is my best so far!

Also the music is great!

The Disc Drivin' update has in-app purchases for you to add decals to your disc. I don't begrudge the devs some extra cash as I've played their amazing game for so many hours, but it is a bit greedy to expect 69p for each set of only 4 or 5 decals. Having been treated to a Skeleton Key option by the Pickfords in Magnetic Billiards, I would have appreciated something similar here.

Still, I bought some swirly decals anyway. It's also nice to finally be able to see your stats.

I went with the letters pack 26 decals for 69p :)

Stats I think are not correct, lots of players reporting that the number for silver & bronze are the same.

A couple of recommendations from me (not sure if they've already been mentioned on here):

Meganoid (universal, $1.99): rock hard retro platformer, similar to Super Meat Boy and League of Evil

Phoenix HD (universal, free): absolutely gorgeous vertical shooter

First Touch Soccer (univeral, $0.99): despite the name, this is by far the best footy game on your ithing.

GeoSociety ($1.99): the closest thing you can get to Pokemon on your iphone

Demon Hunter (free): Action RPG Castlevania clone. Amazing game, great graphics, but quite text heavy.

Anyway here's a freebie tip for you

a) Qite like the idea of puzzly type game where you try to destroy a structure by throwing things

but

b) Hate Angry Birds cos its mostly random flinging of birds etc with little skill

and

c) Don't have free-app Hero for some silly reason?

In which case try "Seige Hero" which is free right now. Angry Birds from a first person perspective so no trial and error where you touch is where the boulders etc fly... So you concentrate on best way to demolish structure not trying to work out how many pixels to pull back to vageuly get bird to fly in right place...

150 levels no money

Its throwaway fun

The free-app hero mention was purely because that is where I found the game... Seemed rude to pass on the tip without saying where I got it from.

I rarely pass on game links etc as usually they have already been recommended when i check here etc. In this case given the loathing in some areas for Angry Birds based on its inaccuracy etc I thought this was an ideal replacement
