JuBeat is out now in the UK! It's called Jukebeat. FREE with IAPs for new tracks and stuff.

Hell yes! I always wanted to play the arcade game and I only recently found out about the app - I was gutted when I found that it wasn't available over here...

The jukebeat IAPs are absolutely shameful. Game is only good on iPad. Get TapSonic instead if you have an iPhone/iPod. Either the Korean version or wait for the international version. It does IAP in a decent manner and has the decency to actually rotate what songs are available to play free. Konami really don't give a fuck trying to sell you song packs of 4 90 second songs at £2.49 each, with 3 very average songs to play free.

Yeah, I wasn't massively impressed either. I found it hard to know what beat the optimal time to tap corresponded with, and the screen was so small my thumbs obscured a lot of it while playing. Wasn't impressed with the song selection either. I do love the app icon though. Looks damn slick!

Just as good I think. If there's one criticism I have (after pretty much a solid day of playing) its that as you progress it comes off as all being a bit too much to handle. There's so much happening on the screen, with so many shops, that means you have to do a bit of scrolling all over the place to make sure everything is up to speed. There's little shortcuts you can take (such as opening the menu and viewing the store list all at once, which lets you know when there are special offers on upgrades available, something the game doesn't really tell you about) but it can become a bit fiddly trying to manage everything on such a small screen.

Its nowhere near as bad as Hot Springs Story and Pocket Academy though, thanks to it not attempting to use the isometric perspective for it all. It works, but it would work a lot better with a bit more space to breath.

I'll most likely pick it up then, off on Holiday on Friday so perfect!

What else can drain my iPhone...!?

Sorry for mentioning that Jukebeat was out, people. It's really shit, isn't it? Three awful tunes and the gameplay is barely rhythm-based at all; someone on NeoGAF said it was like Whac-a-Mole and they're totally spot on.

Tiny Tower update:

What's New in Version 1.3

- NEW ELEVATOR!

- New bitizen dressup menu including new costumes!

- New BitizenBuilder web tool lets you create your own custom citizen avatar.

- Business floors can now be upgraded to hold more stock.

- Real Estate VIPs now fill all empty bedrooms in a floor.

- Added new Residential floor.

- Increased the dream job bonus to 2 bux.

- Fixed bug causing neighbors view to crash when friends had emoji chars in their name.

- Fixed bug causing music to play even when sounds are off.

- Added demand percentage numbers to stats screen.

You can level up your stores (unlimitedly) for three Bux a time, and each level adds 75 units of stock to the maximum of each item. Level 'em up enough and you'll probably only have to restock a couple of times a week.

So then, what woule peoples ideal holiday games be?

I think I'm gong to get Broken Sword 2, although I like to play games like that with headphones and that could be a bit antisocial.

I'm loving DenGo! Yamanote Line (although I had to JB for this as it's Japan only)

The first of the packaged Amiga-emulated titles, Defender of the Crown, is out. God, I hope there's a back door to use your own roms with it somehow!

Great news! What's coming next? Rocket Ranger?? I can't see anything on the Manomio website...

Jealous! What's it like?

edit: I'll rephrase that as I essentially know it'll be like driving a train through Tokyo, is it any good? Does it run smoothly and all that?
