Confirmed.

I agree a draw would have been fair. Having gone in 2 up at the break I was disapointed to be 2-2 after 55 mins, but it wasn't unjust.

A close game which saw the home team (Newcastle) take an early lead thanks to some Martins' magic, twistinh and a turning on the outskirts of the box before placing a shot into the corner.

It was end to end stuff from then on, with several clear chances missed by both teams.

Great game mate.

Awful performance from me. I was 2-0 down in the first half, but managed to pull one back to give me some hope. It was false though in the second half when rokforce got the third. Lazio are really not the best when it comes to defending. :)

Confirmed. Thanks for the games. I got pretty nervous whenever your attackers ran at me but luckily I play two DMCs so it didn't happen too often. I'm quickly falling in love with Galatasary, can't believe I thought they were evil for so long.

Good game with ASM, who was unlucky not to get anything out of this, tbh. Early running was made by Sampdoria, trying to breach the PSG rear-guard with a number of chances, luckily for PSG, they held on and on their first attack, Horauru opened the scoring. The young lad soon doubled his tally with PSG's second notable attack of the game, for most of the game, Sampdoria were ensuring the PSG back-line put in a solid service and it was only because of a couple glaring misses and keeper heriocs that PSG were able to return from the break with their two goal cushion.

PSG made a couple formation changes in the second half, bringing the elder statesmen, Guily, out from the wing and up top alongside Horauru. However, it was an own goal from a low, fast cross that cannoned off a Sampdoria defender and heaped more misery on the Italians. Sampdoria kept on going, but sadly the goal never came and it was Horauru on 89 minutes sealing his hat-trick and advancing to the next round.

The scoreline flattered PSG tbh, since Sampdoria had quite a few chances to put the game beyond PSG.

Sorry guys I have run out of time tonight and am away Tomorrow and Wednesday so the draw will be Thursday. Sorry for the delay although this is partly due to other cups having outstanding matches which need to be played.

Confirmed - My boys didn't have their shooting boots on in this match, I had plenty of chances but just couldn't score.

After our breathtaking league matches, a bit of a disappointment. The Porto midfield were sharp and up for it, and overall won it for the team, intercepting lots of passes. Porto looked a little poor going forward but persistence paid off in the end, although the first two goals were a little FIFA in how they came about. PSG defended well and read most of Porto's attacks like they were a rubbish book.

Thanks for the game, mate. Like I said, shame it wasn't the thriller we got last time!

14 scored and none conceded in the UEFA cup so far, Porto want some silverware!

No worries. Next couple of nights aren't so good cos of Champions League, but I could get on for 10pm if you are around/and there's no extra time. Or Thursday before BAP training gets going? Say 9-ish?
