Rllmuk Arcade Stick Thread

fixed. It's a Hori fight stick. Should come in handy for Soul Calibur II as well...but I'm kinda lost for uses after that. Damn my expensive preferences!

Dont forget all of the Neo Geo games on the Virtual Console or the SNK compilation packs either. The King of Fighters, Samurai Showdown and Metal Slug games should be perfect with this.

A couple of the buttons on my SE Fightstick are starting to get a bit unresponsive now if anyone's interested.

I only mention it because if you are planning to get a Sanwa stick to mod yours with, you might do well to throw some buttons into the bundle too as I am not sure the stock ones are lasters.

after attempting to play SFIV with a regular 360 pad and being shit at it I recently cracked and bought one of the SE Fightsticks; it's a nice solid thing but the stick was buggered right from the off so i ripped out all the insides (well replaced the stick and buttons) so now it works perfectly

annoyingly, i'm still shit at the game

Did Soundwave's on NTSC EX2 today full Sanwa, was a bit of a git to get the stick in if i'm honest, but feels much better now.

Just after i did the bottom pic, went to put the base plate back on and realised the JLF is too tall for the shallow EX2. So plenty of grinding and metal filings later and it fits :(

My SE stick just turned up at my door

Quick noob question: Which button layout do I need to choose in SF4's options for it to be true to the arcade? I assumed "Arcade Stick" would do it, but the default settings for that (Type-A) are the same as for the pad, which seems illogical.
