Hey S0L, how much do you reckon we would need to raise on kickstarter to get the DLC OR2 tracks released? :)

On the OutRun2 DLC pack, we actually did offer to do it for SEGA, but they never took us up on it. I don't think it was going to be that expensive either in terms of raw development, but the cost of testing and certification likely made scary reading P&L wise.

Other side is on the raw numbers sold, it didn't do bad, but I'm pretty sure it didn't do great.

If it was to happen, I think it would need to be something like Kickstarter, as you'd not take a punt on making the money back on PDLC for a game that you can't even buy anymore :(

I'd pay very good money for a Vita version.

How about £250,000, I suspect we could do it for about that :P

(Note, I pulled that number out of the air, it's probably slightly high!)

I seriously reckon you could probably generate that amount for a Vita version. I'd certainly cajole everyone I know into supporting it.

Got a real craving to play this but didn't have it on my 360 any more :( So, got a copy of Xbox Outrun 2 for a few quid on amazon and have been playing it this evening :D Such a good game.

If you go into your download history, you can download it again.

Only ever UMD. I am a huge fan too - ill buy another version if it does come out :) (not a mob/iphone version mind you)

I've got both of them on my original XBOX still and XBOX Live. I think I will pick it up on PSP as well, it is a great game.

My mate just bought a real Testarossa, (unfortunately I don't think they made them as convertable though, so not true Outrun lol) I got him to buy an Outrun sticker and put it on the back window :) ...I will try and get a pic.
