I think you ought to practise killing Putricide. I say this on the basis that he's evil and needs killing. It's not for my own personal benefit you understand. The fact that he drops one of the only good daggers in the raid is pure co-incidence!

Sood, are you looking at yesterdays raid? Someone needs to mark raids as old or they stay in the active list even though they're in the past. I suspect next resets raids will be back in raidar as wrm doesn't bring enough to outweigh it's clunkyness.

I'd like to kill the Queen. We were so close last night, and were getting better. A bit more practice and we'd have it. I also really like the fight. It seems simple, and not at all insta-jibbed/unfair-jibby.

Could we go back to Mot being OT, rather than DPS though? Seemed more hectic when he switched?

After than...Green Dragon or Putricide...I think we have 13 tries left on the "end" bosses...so we should have a few left after the queen.

I don't know which of the two is easier though. They both sound like horrible "practice until you do it perfect" fights.

Yeah an OT worked better for us for sure, I went down like a stone as DPS even with some heavy stam gear on.

I think Putricide should be the next kill after Queenie, personally. Get those wings polished off and then (in future) practised.

Icecrown Citadel Attempts removed on Normal

Couple of things for next weeks attempts at putricide:

1. This really is a two healer fight. Most of the incoming damage is avoidable, and is avoided by having high DPS. Suck it up healers!

2. I wasn't understanding the mutated plague mechanic (phase 3) properly. Each stack on the tank causes damage to the raid, but this damage increases exponentially for each stack. It's therefore better to taunt at 2 stack intervals. It also can't be allowed to drop off, as this heals Putricide for loads. This also lends to the reason for having an extra DPS. Due to the exponential increase in damage he has to die quickly.

3. We should try to enter phase 3 without an add up. This will be much easier to do with more DPS, as we were getting at most 3-4 seconds without an add up in our attempts last night.

4. The tank should go to the back of the room (where we entered) at the start of phase 3 to get an extra 5-10 seconds of dps without mutated plague being stacked up.

I know we had our only tank death with 2 healers last night, but this was due to a positioning error which was fixed for the next attempt. Sadly we didn't get a chance to see if it worked.

I won't be there unless a tank drops out Sunday/Monday, so GL!

I can maybe agree on the two healer thing (especailly considering phase 3), but with only 6 attempts it made sense to go three healers to give us a better look at the first two phases, which I think we can do now somewhat easily. Transition of phase 2 to 3 was our biggest problem but as moo said, just make sure add's dead first!

It won't be too hard to have a clean phase change as long as we're watching Profs health closely.

We did this pretty well on Anub Heroic.

Having everyone making sure you're stacked up on the green ooze target seemed to help alot. On the occasions we didn't kill it before it popped, I noticed I had plenty of health following an explosion every time. It almost killed me eveytime we didn't make the effort to stack. Seems very important. Don't be lazy!

That's what's being raided on official nights, but I think there is sometimes a lower tier raid on saturdays?

Some of the ridiculously geared alts go play then I think.

ICC is really all that gets put on raidar, but there's VoA and TOTC around the place randomly.

I do hate TotC with the passion of a thousand suns but if pushed I could always spend 5 minutes to work out how the fucking fights work thus relieving some modicum of my hate. But only if I get to insult moo all the time.
