Just wanted to say thank you to Choc and Jera last night for humouring me on calling out tank changeover warnings for Festergut. I'm a simple creature, and the shout-outs made sure my nub heals went where they were needed with minimal stress. Other thanks to Cham and Tree for some seriously pro-healing on Rotface (for which I can take no credit :lol:) and to fish people Otta and Elle.

Well played all, hopefully we'll smush the Princes tonight ;)

Sorry I vanished at the end, got some drunken girlfriend agro. Really enjoyed it last night, chaos turned into control with each attempt and I think it's dfinitely repeatable. The blood queen seems dull in comparison until she took off and started nuking people, another fun one to get to grips with.

Did you get the princes down in the end the chaps? Seem to be very close from talking to Sukki/Elle before I went to bed :wub:

I've not put it up on the Raid thingy (cus I'm not sure I can/don't know how/don't want to) - but I assume people would be up for trying 10 man Frost-von in VoA tomorrow?

Just remembered something else from last night I wanted to ask about but was busy trying to work out if the boots were an upgrade. Our loot rules are need for main spec, main spec being the role you're performing at the time, right? If that is the case then how come the plate tanking shoulders didn't go to mumps?

I must admit I was a bit miffed by that simply because they were needed on with no word and I was under the same impression as Jonny regarding the 'rules' (your 'main' spec is what role you are performing on the night, not a fight by fight basis, as it were), but I'm sure they'll drop again so it's no big deal in the long run.

Well that's news to me. My main spec has always been bear and when I've raided as kitty/resto I've never rolled on tanking gear if I'm not actually tanking that evening. If I am healing an healing loot drops should I be greeding or needing? I always thought I should be able to need, but if main spec is main spec then I should only be greeding. The only reason I'm making a point about this is it's so different to what I've understood the rules to be for the last 3 years.

I've always assumed the same rules Mot has. The spec you usually raid as is your main spec, and you can roll on loot for that regardless of what you're in the raid as at the time.

Otherwise you're penalizing people for being willing to off spec to help raids happen, which'd be a bit harsh..
