My suggestion to everyone who can raid tonight is to be online at 9pm. We'll see if we can make a viable B-Team raid out of that.

We have me, Cham, Jangles & Quenby - which is a solid start. If we have to go with a couple of randoms, so be it.

I can't make Saturday night, as it's Saturday night. I'm sure a lot of others are of a similar line of thinking so lets not leave it till then.

Cheers Moo, you're a gent.

I would have thought there was a decent chunk of people tonight to gather up Team Beta and give at least a couple of bosses a good kick in the nads?

I reckon we should see what we can do about doing a 25 man run. I know a few folk are against it, but the fact we are regularly over subscribed means it might be worth taking a peek, surely? I'm sure we all know a couple of good folk to fill the gaps, should any arise?

Just a thought...

People from our little guild (A good 7-8 folk when people bother to get their arses online) would be happy to have a venture into ICC25 (or any other 25 man stuff for that matter) if you can't get together enough from Muk alone. ;)

Not a huge fan of 25 man content myself, I wouldn't mind going in though to at least do the first 4 bosses, id not be overly serious about it mind (IE id not be willing to go and wipe all night on a boss for progress where in 10 man i'd gladly do that!)

What you mean Matt, is that it's too much of a challenge for you!

;)

No i just dont like larger raids, while in a way they feel more epic they also take my mind from anything but health bars... Healing 25 people is a bit dull, you dont have enough cooldowns to use on more than 1 person every 12 seconds, so your stuck with hots which alone are not enough to do anything, it seems dull to me in comparison to 10 man where there are usually 2-3 healers so each decision I make seems to matter more, rather than a spam feast

i will be about to raid tonight no problems. I dropped out as my alt healer was drafted of a main healer. Then jeraka was taken off as some other mains didnt get in the main run last week.

So just to say yes can raid tonight and bring tank or healer

OK, tonight results are in. A team went with Ott instead of Moo and got first 4 bosses down. Moo, Jeraka, Cham, myself and some others did a B-team run and got first 3 bosses down. Because this mucks up the signings for the rest of the week I have rearranged all the raids. Second session for both teams will be Sunday, ToTGC is moved to Monday. Could everyone please check Raidar again and delist/sign as necessary. Thanks.

Despite a fair few goes and an epic 'famous last stand' attempt at him where we got him to 15%, Festergut feels a lot easier than Rotface imho.

Also, a big round of applause to Chauntea and Kauwiks for single healing Saurfang Jnr. Amazing skills yo!

I just re-read the first few pages of this thread. God I was a dick. I said WAS you assholes, before anyone comes in with a 'was? lol' post. I know one of you will. Probably Mot tbh. Asshole. :(

You made me go back and read some of it :( I like how I said see you in a raid just before the next expansion hits, I was right! I finally got into a raid with you the other day just as the Cataclysm F&F beta starts <_<

Festergut's not really got much in the way of mechanics to worry about. There's the spores, but they don't add a huge amount and then there's just a great big truckload of damage to deal with. Where as with rotface you've got oozes and slime and sprays and floods and more oozes and infections and acid rain. There's a lot going on there!

At some point (when tanks have got masses of health and tree can solo heal it) Festergut will be laughably easy where as Rotface is going to have a lot more potential to stay tricky i reckon. He could be our new shade of aran! (or maybe that'll be putricide)

I'm going to the pub for dinner but I'm thinking of getting another totc10 together tonight for those that want in. Say 9pm or just after (depends how many drinks i've had :D). See you there!

I will come on my healer for a 10 man

Hi guys

It appears I have been drafted on both soodenim as dps and as nomdeplume as tanking. Good as I am I can't quite multi box in two separate raids.

Please tell me what I am needed to do, either way I will log on Sunday night and go where I am told ;-)

J

Is wow-raidar making the draft harder than it could be? I had a look for alternatives and found this: Wow Raid Manager.

I've installed it on my hosting so we have total control over it in terms of keeping old raid info. It also integrates with a DKP system which tracks raid attendance. I'm not suggesting we use DKP, but being able to see who is and isn't raiding over the last week/month could help with the drafts. In my messing around with it some bits aren't as slick as wow-raidar, so I thought I'd put it out here for others to have a look and see what they think about it.
