Nah. The problem was that OT, Big Slime + MI infected where all in the slime pools. I couldn't heal them all.

I believe our glorious leader made sure after that that everyone know only OT went into slime.

Some stuff about Rotface, taken from EJ. A few things I wasn't aware of, i.e. the gap between mutated infections is based on time

• The little oozes are snarable (Chains of Ice) and possibly rootable but are NOT tauntable - see fixate above.
  

This is definitely correct - I found that when I got the Mutating Infection it helped to snare the small ooze in the path of the kiter/big ooze with a frost nova. I'd stay close to make sure that it merged properly but this seemed to work quite well to control the merging & it meant I took less damage from the AoE & the small ooze itself.

It was a shame we didn't get Rotface down the other night but it felt like we made progress which was largely down to some excellent kiting by Ste & Moo. We just need to work a bit more on merging the small oozes & that transition after the ooze explosion & we'll have it I think. Great fun though - it'll be really satisfying when we finally crack it! Hi Fin i dont think its very fair that my alt (nerendo) has been drafted over a main healer (Kauwiks) as not sure if you want to change this at all. Also just to mention that jeraka did sign for the raid but he isnt showing there anymore

Can i just state again that ottington is my main now, i sign every week for ICC and have only been drafted to the A team once and the only reason i got drafted for that one (the run that was left with 3 free spots for healers) was because sukk mentioned to whoever it was running that particular raid that i hadnt been and he switched to heals to free up a dps spot.

Dont get me wrong i love the B-team runs when we get them going its just that i am left wondering if there is a reason why i never get drafted. Really didnt want to say anything and rock the boat but it may increase my chances of getting in some time down the line

I was planning on sleeping on this, but on reflection I'd rather get it out of my system. I'll keep it brief. For whatever reason, some people are not getting drafted for Icecrown Citadel, whilst others are crashing into Arthas' living room and kicking his pals in the crotch almost every week. Recently, and very kindly, people have been pointing out where this has been the case, or offering to step aside to allow others to take their place. This is a lovely thing for them to offer but, and I can only speak for myself here, if I get a spot under these circumstances, I can't help but feel like a charity case at best, a usurper at worst. And we're not, y'know, we could be contenders!

Of course, I appreciate that some roles are over-subscribed, and select people may be drafted more regularly than others to ensure a viable raid composition, but other spots don't appear to be being rotated. Perhaps there is a system, and I simply don't understand it, but if so my experience of that system is having to fight for a raid spot, whatever my role, or have others fight on my behalf. And that's not terribly fun, or conducive to an enjoyable raiding experience.

The last thing I want is to cause disharmony in the guild, and I'm not suggesting that getting the draft right is an easy or enviable task, but I know I'm not alone in feeling this way, and something needed to be said.

Well Jeras delisted as well so tomorrow we would have two tanks if Moos about, ultra-cham-healorz and your aces DPS which is a solid backbone to a group.

Oh and I know Ashe didn't want a charity spot but I felt by delisting myself it shows there isn't anything sinister afoot.

Didn't think for a moment you'd be involved if there were! No desire to steal your spot tonight mate, I just needed to comment on the state of play. If you're on at 9, it's still yours as far as I'm concerned, no questions asked.

I would have thought there was a decent chunk of people tonight to gather up Team Beta and give at least a couple of bosses a good kick in the nads?

I reckon we should see what we can do about doing a 25 man run. I know a few folk are against it, but the fact we are regularly over subscribed means it might be worth taking a peek, surely? I'm sure we all know a couple of good folk to fill the gaps, should any arise?
