Aye, it's been a good couple of weeks working on that blue bastard. I need to find some way to up my 'active time' according to those stats, I always seem to be a good order of percentage lower than others and I'm not sure why. Can't really remember any times i'd go without casting or anything :unsure:

Hi all,

Having looked at the world of logs report I'd just like to apologise, for some reason my DPS is considerably lower than all the other DPS and I have no idea why. The only real excuse is that even as destruction I don't have any instant DPS spells and I take time to build up damage. When we are just killing adds, or pretty much all of phase 2 I'm a fucking liability.

With the fact that Tree is now always owl when we fight him, my debuff is really not necessary.

Can I suggest that therefore for the next few weeks I won't sign up for the raids and instead recommend taking Deefy in my place. He has more instant DPS, brings totems and of course brings blood lust.

Once you've killed him a few times I'll come back?

We play for fun!

If we was all like you our raid would be, 2 healers, 2 tanks, and 6 arcane mages ;) they all do more dps than the rest of us!! (which i think may actually be a idea for anub at least once!) but really we were on target most of the time last night, we started getting from phase 2 to 3 a lot more comfortably near the end, its just getting it all right enough times to give the healers some practice at what works best, I was only off healing and I was in super stress mode in phase 3!! so god knows how Cham and Jonni felt!

I'm not taking the game that seriously Mumps, in all honestly I've not played my Pally or Druid in month and am only really logging on for Sunday and Monday raid nights. Its just for me a key part of the game has always been the theory crafting and dynamics behind the characters. I am the sad bastard who plays around with excel spreadsheets to try and ensure I am doing the best DPS I can.

Tree - I'm not being a muppet just am aware that it would be nice to get that big blue bug down (a bit like in star ship troopers!) We are very very close to getting him and your right in your assumption that the healers just need time how to deal with the hell that is phase 3. I wish we had a web cam on Cham, in my head he is smoking 3 fags at the same time and just swearing constantly!

I'm not qqing or being a martyr, its coming up to Christmas anyway and I'll be quite busy most night now till January, so just makes more sense for me to not raid and make sure Deefy is there who can buff you far more than me.

In fact having checked my diary I am pretty much busy every thursday and Sunday till mid January :-) so I need to raid less anyway, so all in all win situation for everyone!

Theorycrafting is all well and good dude, and I enjoy a bit of it myself (until it comes down to the napkin math that makes my brain dribble out of my ears), but if it's making you feel useless, fuck it! Just throw some purple bolts of pain at folk and do whatever else it is that you warlocks do, and you'll be reet!

God! I thought Belfs were supposed to be all emo, not Orcs! You switched to an Orc pal, act like one! Go burn something and shout LOKTAR FRIEND! at people in the street. You'll feel loads better, trust me!

As everyone has said, its great having you along for raids (your the only one nice to me!! all the rest of want me dead and to eat big bird! dont leave ME!!!) the game for me now is all about who im playing with, I wont play the game unless i'm on skype with Jera, Cham or Lone or on vent (and even then im still on skype with Jera!)

Your one of the chatty ones so I like having you on vent, your not goldmember, your never stuffing your face full of food while trying to talk, your not chain smoking and swearing lots, your one of the few sane ones left!!!! :D

FU Sood. You keep raiding. It's fun, and you make it fun (not that other people don't help). As others have said if we wanted to WIN we'd take a team of 10 mages :P

It's meant to be fun and frolicks - and (I think) everyone had fun last night regardless of we got him down.

And, pragmatically, if anyone's going to stop raiding it should be a mage - then we might get more buff balance.

And, secondly pragmatically, even if you're DPS had been a little higher - we still wouldn't have got him down. Cus of the healers, innit ;)
