Ant just told me I was one of the missing people!

I wasn't 100% sure I would have been back for last night, I thought I might be stuck in Geordieland so I delisted, or thought I did.

It seems I added my note on raidar, but didn't manage to delist properly. Fail.

Sorry guys.

I feel like a twat now. I was watching Jonathan Creek when I could've been squishing big dragons.

As Ulduar failed last night anyone want to do a run today, during the day... Mainly alts or what not but still, mains can come along... aiming for front of house stuff, but maybe if we got time start the watchers??

No sure on times yet, I know myself, Cham, Jera and Sukki had interest in it so so far its pro muk!

I'd be interested in taking Liepz on some ulduar runs. obviously not during the day though, bloody work. Maybe tomorrow night?

Hi all,

I've been looking a lot at elitist jerks recently and am trying to be ready for 3.3 when it finally hits. Was wondering if the regular raiders could give me there opinion on something?

I have my pally and druid specs and glyphs sorted, my only issue is with the warlock.

I'd quite like to go back to being an affliction lock as its still the most "warlocky" type spec I have, basically it stops me looking like some stupid fire throwing mage!

It does come with two big issues though:

1. I have zero burst, my DPS on trash will go through the floor. Fights like Heroic Jaxxarus where we burn down the portals I'd probably be a fucking liability on (ok more than normal!)

2. I will stop putting up COE, if I go affliction I really need to keep up COA instead.

This obviously has a massive impact on most of our raids, as we stack spell dps as mages, warlocks and Shamen it would remove a flat 10% raid damage if I stop using COE. So we have 3 options:

1. We say fuck it and go without COE

2. We make Tree go owl, or one of the DK's spec into ebon plague

3. I drop COA and keep up COE, which will nerf my affliction DPS but keep the debuff up for everyone else.

Oh and before the mages start complaining I will be bringing improved shadow bolt so you get a 5% crit buff! Not sure if it scales with Moonkin aura though?

So come one come all any thoughts? Would be particularly helpful if the normal Raid leaders could give some feedback i.e. Mot, Fin, Cham, Choc et al?

Shirley at least one of the mages brings either improved scorch or winter's chill at the moment? Also it's a debuff so does stacks with Moonkin Aura. It's elemental oath and moonkin aura that don't stack.

Basically all our mages are slack and selfish and bring no bloody raid love at all :)

Its left to the poor summon bot to actually bring helpful things to the raid!

10 mans aren't meant to be reliant on any particular buff or debuff so losing one buff to gain another probably isn't that big a deal. Plus if you horribly suck we can always gkick you and get in a proper lock (or you could respec back.. that'd be less amusing than a gkick though).

Really, by now i thought you would have learned!! we are not a hardcore raiding guild it dont really matter as long as were all having fun!!

So far the dungeons have been well easy, and as much as id like to say it will be hard i cant see it being hard!! so go the spec u find fun :lol:

Side note

Ulduar!

Were aiming to start around 4 - 4.30

We currently have

Healers: nerendo, Kauwiks

Tanks: Lenona, ??

DPS: Carmo, Luthic

If we cant get a 2nd tank we can either:

A: Pug one LOL

B: Just do Flame, easy badges and loot and any make up can do it :P

So Tank and dps, alts are welcome!!!

Currently main is destruction PVE, secondary is PVP destruction spec.

Assuming you want to keep your pvp spec, I agree with tree. Even if you do not so much damage and don't bring a certain buff for the raid, it still counts most if you have fun. (we'll down the boss anyway :P)

Seriously Sood, just pick something you'll get the most enjoyment out of. As much as we've appreciated the CoE buff, it's a bit pish for you to continually be nerfing your own dps for us (loved, appreciated) mages. I won't pretend the 10% raid damage buff won't be missed, but unless it's making the difference between Muk being able to get through content, and failing miserably, fun > all.

Basically all our mages are slack and selfish and bring no bloody raid love at all :P

I hear some awesome mage has a secondary frost spec for replenishment, despite it knocking 1k off their dps.

We also bring fishies, and strudels, and...and int buffs....and portals....and...

AMG WAI DO U HATE US?! QQ :P
