Final fixtures

Here are the remaining matches to be played in this league.

All games should be played and reported by Sunday 3pm.

samcivilised vs gingerling

Saint vs Legendary

If you are unable to play this week, fixtures can be granted a week extension to play providing it's requested and a match time/day is confirmed before the end of this week.

If games are not played by the end of the week, penalties will be applied!

Additionally, the following chaps have not yet confirmed what they are doing for Season 17

rokforce 3 - 1 Webbinho

A pretty close game all in all. I scored all my goals in a crazy ten minute spell in the first half. The first was a beautiful finish from Hugo, one of those when I was holding down shoot in a hope that he would get on the end of it, but planted a beauty into the top corner. I don't know how your guy missed that header in the first half btw.

Webbinho 0 - 3 rokforce

One of those games were the first goal seemed to make all the difference. It was very tense and close until early in the second half, but once I scored one I got another two quickly, and seemed to take charge after that.

Cheers for the games Webbinho. You were pretty unlucky to concede 6 and come away with nothing really. Good luck in your last two games (I think you have two left still don't you?).

Well seasons nearly over and everyone's starting to sort their final positions out

Just wanna say congratulations to rokforce on winning the league, he was a decent opponent and a really good laugh to play against

Good luck to those of you in the playoffs and commiserations to those of you who don't survive the drop

Finally, congratulations to Mike for organising another cracking season :)

Thanks Petey, your form in the last few weeks has caused me much distress :(

Cheers everyone for a great season. Enjoyed every match this year without exception.

I think samcivilised said something about RROD, but that might have been before I played him.

(Petey) Internacional 3 - 0 Napoli (Legendary)

A poor game of football this one I felt, all the passes were everywhere and noone seemed to have a decent first touch.

Saving that Daniel Carvalho opened the scoring early with a cracking shot from the edge of the box.

Nilmar then added a second after the break before a penalty was converted to give Internacional a 3-0 lead.

(Legendary) Napoli 1 - 2 Internacional (Petey)

A bit of a better game of football, passes actually making it to their designated receivers.

Legendary stepped up this game and played some nice football, only his strikers let him down when he needed them most to help his relegation fight.

Another penalty in this match gave Internacional the lead and then a Nilmar shot was parried by the keeper into the net.

Legendary pulled one back with not much left on the clock, when a shot hit the post came back out and his striker placed the ball into an empty net.

Well played legendary, you played some good football at times, shame your strikers weren't quite on form.

Unlucky about relegation, but I'm sure you will bounce back up :angry:

Thanks and my mistakes is sticking with 3-5-2 aggressive counter attacking game which doesn't work so I use possesion 4-3-3 with 10 more on pace, passing, chances and shooting.

I thought I might get an upset in 2nd game. But no. I got relegated as my strikers doesn't score enough goals. I don't have the time to practise the game a lot these days. Too much things to do and too many games as well.
