I played Rokforce last night

Rokforce (Sao Paulo) 1 - 0 Reef (Bolton)

An even game, we both had only a couple of chances, it was my defensive midfielder who had 3 or 4 mis-placed passes in a row, one of which led to the goal. I have no idea why some of my players just will not pass it to feet, they clearly don't like the ball being played on the floor. Still a good goal and Rokforce had a really strong last 10 mins which meant a frustrating end of the game for me.

Reef (Bolton) 2 - 2 Rokforce (Sao Paulo)

A (near enough) completely one-sided game, from kick off I had chance after chance, all of them really good as well but my players were happy to blast the ball a foot wide of the post with the keeper beaten repeatedly. I had an unmarked Kevin Davies head the ball against the bar from 2 yards out! I took a very early lead in the game but just couldn't get the 2nd which would have made life easier for me. Rokforce's 2 goals came from some very nice passing play and the speed of his strikers. I was gutted when his 2nd went in and saw myself getting 0 points from a game I deserved something from. However the God of football must have been looking down on me for I was gifted the most extraordinary own goal. A bit of a scramble at the edge of the box and one of Rokforce's defenders rolls the ball past a stranded keeper and doesn't have enough time to get back and clear it. The ball must have only just crossed the line, proper slow-motion moment! Phew!! I'm happy with a point but it could have been 7-2 really :lol:

Results confirmed. You should definitely be the one coming away with 4 points, not me. Some of those misses in the second match were unbelievable. I was very grateful that you are cursed with Kevin Davies and Elmander up front, hehe. The own goal was hilarious, worth losing two points which I wouldn't have deserved anyway for.

Enjoyed the games a lot, and good luck in the rest of the season.

(Petey) Internacional 1 - 4 Sampdoria (ASM)

Worst performance of the season for me, I couldn't get much.

Sampdoria just strolled through my defense, couldn't get anything, a goal at the end gave me hope and brought the score to 3-1, I then sent my keeper up for a corner and the obvious happened.

(ASM) Sampdoria 1 - 3 Internacional (Petey)

Sampdoria took the lead just before half-time, and it stayed that way until about 75 minutes, then I managed to get the equalizer. 2 more goals followed with 5 minutes to go and then on the stroke of full time, Nilmar with a hat-trick.

Well played mate, 3 points a piece is a fair result, looking at both matches as a whole.

Some good football at times and good goals.

Hi guys

Can someone tell me how you set up the 7 mins match for our games, I normally just get my opponent to set it up and then just select play again. Yesterday playing Legendary I got booted off xbox live (about the 3rd time since the new dashboard update!!) and then was trying to set up our 2nd game and couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I think it was Samcivilised who showed me once before but I'm a bear of very little brains it would seem :angry:

Instead of going to quick match head-to-head or whatever it is, you must navigate the menus to the 'Match Creation' section then set up a head-to-head match through there.

I can't remember the exact navigation through the menus, but if you search you should be able to find it :angry:

(Petey) Internacional 5 - 0 Middlesbrough (bph)

An unlucky game for bph, hit the post a few times, and several one-on-ones, but my keeper was too good, kept out every shot.

Everything seemed to click up front, putting in some good balls, although a dodgy penalty for something in the middle was confusing, but I'll take 'em.

(bph) Middlesbrough 4 - 4 Internacional (Petey)

A very open game that start with Internacional going 1 up with the first goal.

I went up to 4-1 with some good moves and a header from Alves put Middlesbrough back in it.

A penalty and a couple of headers put Middlesbrough back on level terms, they could have won the game, after hitting the post a few times, but the same for Internacional, with 10 shots on target to Middlesbrough's 5, but the game stayed at 4-4

Very well played mate, a tough opponent to defend against, with Alves' pace, was a real struggle.

Definitely deserved at least a goal in that first match

They sound like classic games!

EDIT: You must be the most unlucky player in the league bph! They sound so much like our matches.

I sympathise with you there reef. The first league games I had I must have invited my opponent into about 7 or 8 different games before figuring out how to set up one properly. Felt like a complete idiot.

Cheers, enjoyed the games. Felt a little hard done by in the first game (especially for the goal that came off the back of the keeper's head!) but I can't quibble with the finishing from yourself.

You deserve more credit than the 5-0 suggests in our first game, I think almost all my shots went in where as you has almost as many chances and I thought you were unlucky not to score at least one.

636.gifrokforce - three points behind with 4 games in hand. Plays Webbinho in the last fixture of the season.

108.gifWebbinho - great at home, shocking away. Will do well if he can keep close enough at the top to have a chance.

The first game was awesome, I was 1-0 down after 20 mins, 3-1 up after 50 mins and 6-3 down at the end... :wacko: The second game rather passed rather anynomously after all of that!

CFTG fella, most enjoyable! Also, sorry for the lack of comms but it wasn't doable at my end when we played without annoying others.

Pretty strange game. Was 2-0 up at half-time and added a third shortly after the break. The game changed after that however with samcivilised piling on the pressure. He was incredibly unlucky not to score (missing a a few open goals in the process). I got a fourth on the break on the last few minutes and was shocked that I still had a clean sheet. It could have quite easily been 3-3 or worse for me before that point.

samcivilised 0 - 5 rokforce

This one was a bit more one-sided although the scoreline still did flatter me a bit. Most of the goals came in the second half, and I got the impression that samcivilised's spirit had been broken by those open-goal misses in the first game.

Played well in this game, was on top for long spells.

Two good goals put Internacional in the lead, they looked like they could have grabbed more, but the Celtic keeper was on top form.

This game was only set up for 5 minutes, after trying 4 times to try and get wiener to create a 7 minute game, but I couldn't get it through to him, so I had to settle for it.

Didn't work out though, lost 1-0 and couldn't get anything going. Again Celtic keeper was on form and kept out all my chances.

Ah, shit - I didn't realise it was 5 mins a half (I had changed my default to 7 mins) and didn't realise. We can replay if you like.

Yeah, you got to go through all the menus to create a match

Its something like

> Game Mode

> Create Game

> Head-to-Head

>Create Unranked session

Its something similar to that, and very tedious.

Could do a replay if you are free tomorrow evening (Tuesday) I have BAP at 9:30 so preferably before that :)

Also I've sent a PM to Harbey, explaining the situation and what we are doing
