You know it actually looks brilliant that card. Plus Goldie is now commentating for them; bets on how many times he calls Bellator the UFC anyone????

Coker is like the anti dana; low key trying to make fun fights.

The biggest thing i've heard from all the people of whove joined Bellator lately is that Coker and the other people they deal with over there are so much nicer to deal with and are actually nice to the fighters no matter whom they are. So i think that adds to the anti-Dana vibe to.

Event at the weekend was... alright.

Sad to see Arlovki in the state he's in. Didn't realise he'd lost 5 on the bounce now! I still like the sound of a legends tour, but do I really want these guys risking their health for a few more wars? Probably not.

Holly Holm Holly Holmed about as hard as you can. Patient, accurate, a bit dull.

Looks like De Ramdamie has been stripped of the prestigious UFC 145lb womens' title. After Cyborg takes on Megan Anderson for it, I wouldn't be surprised to see Holm in the mix there. Or, if Cyborg smashes it, she retires with the belt and they mothball the division.

Funnily, Dana said that they stripped De Randamie because she refused to fight the top contenders, which 'damages the integrity of the sport'. He really does think the fans who pay his way are the stupidest people in the world, doesn't he?

De Randamie was lucky to even get the belt, should have been docked at least a point in that farcical Brooklyn main event. Hope her and Holm rematch at 135 and the Dutch lass gets a taste of sweet shin music.

Classic deflection from Dana, imagine more than a few fighters were like, 'WTF?!' when they heard the integrity line.

Even if your no.1 contender is a former drug cheat you can't refuse just to fight them. If they are good to fight by USADA and the UFC you have to fight as well.

De Randamie has probably just fubared her career in the UFC. She's not getting another shot at Nunes anytime soon. Her next fight will be as difficult match up as they can give her on the prelims of a Fight Pass Fight Night in the middle of nowhere in America. If she loses she could well be cut too. Good luck.

Not that I can see. The buy-in page is just US cable companies.

UK-wise apparently it's on Monday night at 10pm. Not ideal but I can probably keep radio silence until then, can't be arsed to trawl dodgy torrent sites on Sunday.

Monday is bearable, Im too paranoid of torrents these days as im using a shared computer.

Weigh ins.

I thought Wand looked in good shape but he's getting grief in the comments. He is 40 wtf?

I've noticed this more since reading about artem lobov and his 65 inch reach ; the guys on here have way disproportionate reach to their height. Is there no advantage at all to a shorter reach?

I cant think of any. Maybe if youre in close and do what DC does so well, grabbing the collar tie and uppercut people. But that means wading through jabs to get inside which is dangerous, its the old "I can hit you but you cant hit me" scenario. Long arms and legs is certainly beneficial for the ground as it gives you leverage aswell as range.

Really pysched for Bellator. Some potentially good fights on the UFC card aswell, if Siver beats Penn he must be finished surely?

Siver Penn is like a WWE retirement match, don't see either man continuing it they lose. Well, not in UFC anyway.

Boetech Hendricks should be fun, and think Herrig Kish will turn out decent. It's the best FN card on paper for a while.

Will record Bellator and watch when I get up. Looking forward to seeing how Bader gets on. A successful Bellator is good for UFC.

@Orion Seriously? How much by? Jesus, i was just listening to Buffers podcast and he was saying how hard Johnny trains and does so much to stay in shape but 170lb was just too much weight to cut. I find it hard to believe he's trying that hard between fights to keep weight off if he cant make 185lb.

Edit: he was 188lbs

Carla Ezparsa is fighting on the prelims and its strange to think she was the champ before Joanna started her destruction of

all-comers

Every Bellator event I've ever watched has been a freakshow & boy has this one delivered in that regard. Bizarre event.

Entertaining though. I'd say that was more fun to watch than the last 4 UFC's combined tbh.

Despite a couple of bad fights, I really enjoyed everything about the presentation. Feels like Strikeforce.

Really feel for Chandler, that was so hard to watch as he soldiered on. Hope he beats the brakes off Primus in the rematch. Paige van Zant continued her descent into heeldom (or being dense) when she congratulated him on his clean win on Twitter.

Sonnen/Wand - bleh. They're both a less than compelling case for a legends division.

Fedor. So bad. It's sad to think that he's not been dangerous for a decade. His fight IQ plummets every year, he's been broken, and he has no real desire to take things seriously. He's not a can-crusher, he's the can. Collecting cheques and losses, hands by the waist, never evolving.

Risky putting Pico on the main card for his pro debut, but they may have inadvertently made themselves a new face in Freeman.

Lima/Larkin wasn't great either. Lima hits very hard, but both were too gunshy. I hope Larkin finds his fire again and gets another run at him.

I had Davis over Bader, but neither really deserved anything. It was the worst kind of Davis fight. All on the feet, no high kicks, no awesome wrestling.

Commentators were great, I enjoyed the whole thing more than most recent UFC events.

Chiesa was 90% done, but that doesnt excuse Yamasaki from what he did *sigh*. Happy for Tim Boestch, he looked much sharper than Hendricks with a nice headkick. I dont know what happens to Hendricks now, something is clearly missing something to motivate him i think.

Siver looked a clas above Penn, i think Cruz and Anik were being kind saying about the knockdown, as i saw it that was the only thing that saved BJ from being utterly dominated in the stand up, how the fuck one judge scored it a draw ive no idea, well done Dennis a great win. Dominic Reyes, holy shit! What a KO.

It was bizarre for sure. It looks worse with a choke as once its released you're basically fine, unlike being punched/kicked where you'll stagger about and can say "the ref saved him" or whatever. Mario jumped the gun and Danas instagram post is pretty brutal.
