He's not huge Khabib, i wonder how much he cuts? Man im fucking disappointed, cant imagine how the fighters feel.

Weight cuts are bad![\rogan]

I think that's some sort of illusion. He's shorter in height but his frame is pretty big. This was most apparent when he fought michael johnson.

Khabib looked very gaunt in the pre fight vlog.

This has to prompt them to do something about this, the earlier weigh ins just arent working, in fact I think they make people think they can cut more weight as have longer to recover after hitting it.

so disappointed, this was going to be a great fight

I love Barboza, really think this could be his year. LW is stupidly stagnant at the mo, seems like the whole division (apart from Ferg/Khabib) has ground to a halt in Conor's absence.

Thanks for the ironic pos whoever that was. A mere 14 hours ago everything was fine...

Surely itd have been better to miss weight than not be able to fight? Yeah its not great but at least thered have been a fight. Has Khabib missed weight before? Tony must be fucking raging, wish id been able to see his reaction like the DC/Jones video [\voyeur]

Some reports suggesting Khabib was around 6lbs off weight when he started feeling bad, so lord only knows how far out he started. I know weight-cutting is a miserable part of combat sports, but that's a wide margin to be off a few hours prior to weigh-in.

Ferguson got his last pound or so off with a run in a sauna suit on Friday morning.

And that they didnt bother with the UFC doctors, they did it themselves. Danas thrown them under a bus, and rightly so.

Could they add the fight to next weeks card? Maybe even at catchweight so ass not to waste their camps.

great idea, but I'm sure there's a reason why not.

Oh man, that would be great. A reward for the people who already paid for the ppv expecting that fight.

If anyone still pays in advance, that is.

The lack of this fight has left me quite sad :( Felt more 'legit' than any other fight out there.

It sounds a poorly managed cut in that case, leave it late and try and tough it out.

I feel the same as you Schmojo, this was like the hardcore fans fight.

Cuts are horrible, I had a heart attack a year last October while cutting for a fight

Bloody hell! Hope you're all good now?

Wondering if Khabib suffered something equally serious; given the grief they've been giving each other in the build-up, Ferguson was pretty chilled about the whole thing. Know fighters share a certain bond that non-fighters will never really understand but was struck by how he dialled things down and showed class when he must have been absolutely gutted / fuming. Hopefully once things heal up for Khabib the pair of them get their match at the fourth time of asking...

Walk around between fights I'm about 95-101KG, I normally fight at 81Kg but the only fight I could get was at 74Kg, dehydration and a serious lack of electrolytes caused big problems, to much going out and nowhere near enough going into the tank.

A guy I went to uni with was built like a tank; 6'1 and wider than our fire door. When I bought some expensive scales he weighed just under 11 stone. Couldn't believe it.

Definitely made me reevaluate my thoughts about weight. You can be as muscled out as you like, if you're skeletal frame is big the weight cut must be hellish.
