Ha no worries mate wheres my pos :P

Yeah, someone on the forum, I believe it was fasteasyfree mentioned he knows someone high up at BT, and basically that is the plan to almost stick 2 fingers up to the governments anti piracy bill. No throttles, just block the basic pages knowing that everyone instantly puts a mirror up, and they even list the names of sites to search proxies for on the block page.

Enjoy :)

Ah, I thought it was decent. Very surprised Tito won but a nice way to go out. Dunno where Sonnen goes from here though.

Daley/Ward worth watching for as I hoped, Kato/Gracie was atrocious though. Never thought I'd see Kato in a boring fight but there you go, I think we know who to blame for that.

Chael tapped without defending it properly, and it looked suspiciously more of a head squeeze than a guillotine. Might be wrong but it seemed weak.

I thought there was a touch of Palhares too with Tito holding the hold for a bit too long after a very obvious tap on his arm from Chael.

Did look a bit weak as never looked like the arm was locked in under the chin, but who am I to say when its not my bonce being squeezed red like that !

That Daley KO looks nasty, good for him, hes properly lethal standing up.

Bloody Elbow describe Titos choke more as a neck crank. Getting choked properly isnt near as bad as someone putting their arm across your face and getting your nose/jaw crushed or being neck cranked

Same. He held on way too long.

Wonder how Tito will be looked back on. I think Chael was right when he said he was never real that good and a bit of a bully. 85% of his wins were against middleweights and welterweights where he had a massive size advantage; he only has 3 wins ever over actual light heavyweights. That's pretty pathetic.

That was a neck crank and it is a horrible position to be in. Legit submission.

The crank didn't look like it was as nasty as it could have been - looked like Tito was using just his arms, and not driving his hips in to increase the pressure on the spine.

Galvao got Chael with an RNC in matamoris IIRC. Hasn't been drilling his escapes since then.

I wish Daley had not thrown away his UFC career like he did. What a finish. I like that he's calling out Rory Mc now though. Would watch.

Daley is great, but I think he'd be lost in the UFC, so I hope he's making plenty where he is. He's money as a feature fight, but too small for 170 there.

Still,  another great KO.

The main event is not the first Bellator main event that seemed a bit fishy to me though...

I don't even seen Daley as a 170lber in the UFC. Can you imagine him even stood next to Tony Ferguson?

That being said, if you put him in fun fights against Lawler, Bahadruzada, Diaz and the like, he'll certainly earn you more than he costs.

I think Daley lights everyone up at welterweight easily. Even Nick Diaz got rocked by Daley and that guy has a chin of iron. Nobody would stand with him though - why would they? easier to wrestle to a decision or submit him than risk getting your head taken off. This is why I love mma, mind. You need more dimensions to your game - daley only has one.

Iirc on ufc unfiltered they said from 2017 takedowns are not gonna be rewarded as highly as previously had been unless you submit or improve position or g'n'p (they cited Hendrick/Magny fight as an example). Which is a welcome change for me as ive felt TOs have been over praised for me, with no follow up action obv, it would drive me nuts to see takedowns stuffed repeatedly then 1 succede and it win the round or fight. So Daley might fare well in UFC but hes one of the main men at Bellator so hes probably happy.

It's tough to gauge. He's arguably only had one big-league level fighter in the last 5 years (Lima), and we saw how that went.

It would be interesting to see how he did work out in the current UFC, especially since he doesn't seem to have aged badly. His power is unquestionable, but I don't see him troubling the top 10 immediately if he switched. It's a deep division though - and there's a ton of fun fights. Cerrone, Lawler, Condit, Brown, another against Masvidal.

I remember Daley trying to get a fight with Thiago Alves and Alves wanting no part of it. Having just seen the damage on Wards face I can see why. Ouch. :o

He's fucked himself over really. Had he not punched Koscheck he'd have likely had a shot at the welterweight belt.

I've also just read Tito earned 300k for the Sonnen win. They'll definitely be a few UFC fighters looking at that and wanting to jump ship when their contracts are up. Nunes didn't even make 200k and that was a title fight against ronda!

But then non-UFC fighters still get sponsorship money.

I see the 'fixed' allegations about Bellator (well, certain main events) are resurfacing online. Like the Shamrock/Kimbo fight it seemed like Chael's sub attempt was released rather easily but I don't think it was fixed, I can't see why anyone would think it was a good idea business-wise for Tito to win this fight. It makes Sonnen look terrible and they have a lot riding on him.

Are they that invested in Chael? He's got other grappling interests, could get popped any day, and is hardly the most loyal of guys.

Perhaps someone just thought that the old guy giving the loudmouth his comeuppance was the most exciting story. If it was as dodgy as it appeared, that is.

Either way, it's hard to find fights in the UFC that look as suspect as several have in Bellator.

Everyone needs to remember that Bellator doesn't necessarily need to be in on it for it to be a fix. The only person who would need to know in order to throw the fight would be Chael. I'm not saying he did or he didn't, but if it was fixed, I imagine Chael was acting alone for profit. Big if, though.

Cage Potato (I know, not the most consistent of sources) are reporting that they're looking at an interim 185lb belt while Bisping heals from knee surgery. Yoel's seemingly a given, with the other spot potentially being Jacare or Mousasi. Though obviously that would upset the Boetsch and Weidman fights, respectively.

Either fight is fine with me. Whilst Jacare beat Mousasi convincingly last time, he seemed to be a bit of a career slump period. Which he's well out of right now.

The last Jacare/Romero fight was a very controversial decision, so that's got some fuel to it too.

Oh man - Jacare could get a belt AND Bisping lives to see another day! Win win.
