DC outside the ring you're a great guy, but sadly fights like this is why you aren't a huge pull, and people enjoy JBJ in the octagon more. He is flashy and entertaining, you are just technical and a lump of meat on the ground.

Tate never seemed like someone to build a womens division around as she had lost twice to Rousey, had lost to Zingano and just got destroyed by Nunes. I think she gets wrecked by Pena as well. She pulled of a miracle comeback against Holm but she was never going on a big champion run.

even cat lost though, this was a night of danas dreams going down the toilet.

womans champ no one gives a shit about, lesnar winning in pedestrian manner and he'll cost a fortune to 'borrow' again. hunt derailed, cormier openly booed, browne flattened by injury prone cain, tate might aswell retire, gomi was shot, jones will get 2 years, aldo looked good but he doesnt sell PPVs, frankie now in no mans land with 2 losses and no division to drop to (cruz will mop him up)

stars of the week? alvarez and joanna

that was pretty tedious - every fight I was excited about failed to deliver

totally agree that the big winners from 200 week are people who didn't even fight on the Saturday event

whole thing felt flat - can't blame it totally on Jones' late withdrawal but even Rogan seemed down (maybe it was his last one, I think his contract is up and he's been talking on his podcast about not doing commentary any more, 200 would be a nice number to go out on)

I think he'll be there for the Conor fight for sure.

Only caught the prelims and Tate's fight as I fell asleep pretty stoned but I just watched Cain Velasquez wheel kick Travis Browne. Awesome. Cain Velasquez is a dude man, good to see him get a win.

Man, Aldo was such a class act post fight. Can't wait to see a motivated Aldo take on Conor it's going to be fireworks!

DC bored the bejesus out of me but what else is he supposed to do? standing Anderson is light years ahead. I can see Anderson going on a run after this. All the bad shit that can possibly happen has happened. Only way is up.

in the post fight press conference Aldo looked like he'd been taking fashion advice from Al Pacino around the Scarface era

I like the new calmed down Brock Lesnar too in interviews - he just exudes that elusive 'star power' that there is so little of to go round - a healthy revitalised Lesnar in the heavyweight is a great prospect, if he can sort out his contractual situation with WWE, from what he's saying I'm sure he fancies another couple of fights.

no loss fight for Anderson, and the fact on 2 days notice he went 3 rounds with DC, who had been training for 5 and had to resort to laying on him to win, really gives a huge boost to Anderson.

Dana White confirmed Bisping v Hendo and saying they'd like to put it on in Manchester

I'm a bit against consensus here - I enjoyed the main card a lot. Some tremendous shows of skill, plenty of effective gameplans, upsets and a monstrous showing by Aldo, confirming that he's not broken.

Really enjoyed seeing Cain mangle Browne too. Although I'll happily watch anyone light him up.

Can't stand Browne. Hope they throw him in there with Derrick Lewis or Dos Santos next.

I'd really like to get behind Cain making a run for the title, but I still don't trust him not to get injured and count himself out for the rest of the year.

I wouldn't argue it was a bad event overall. TJ and Aldo both turned up for sure, and the Lesnar-Hunt match was actually quite tense. But as it was the big 200, it just wasn't good enough. Jon Jones fucked it about 80% in my book.

Well, that wasn't great. A few bright spots but not one of the more memorable cards.

Bringing in Anderson seemed to me a bad call from the beginning, yeah I guess DC deserved his payday but it was always going to be a terrible fight - if you have a smaller KO artist vs a significantly larger wrestler then the larger guy is just going to take it to the ground/clinch for the full 15. Given the choice, I'd have gone for Mousasi. He's a former champ at LHW, in decent form and most importantly he actually had been training for a fight this weekend. The end result was just sad.
