Oh, that Angel!

Speaking of Phil Davis, they're talking about pairing his recent loss, Bader, with Cormier (in an unusual loss vs win combo) . I don't see how that ends well for Bader, but I suppose you have to reward him for his recent hot streak.

If Cormier wrecks Bader, it seems like we could end up with a HW-style situation, where the top 3 in the div are just way ahead of the rest of the pack.

Just catching up on yesterday's stuff... Lots of stuff about drug testing procedures flying around. Looks like the Anderson test was what finally woke them up.

Also, 187's card in may is looking ridiculous. Jones/Rumble, Weidman/Vitor, Khabib/Cerrone and more. Now watch that completely fall apart.

It's also now has Arlovski/Browne, apparently.

It's an outstanding card, but I think that they'd be smart for get Weidman/Vitor on another. It's almost a shame that they didn't go MW crazy and build a card with that headlining the Jacare/Romero and Rockhold/Machida fights.

Rory Macdonald has Lawler in July, too! Possibly time to officially start the new Welterweight era.

Announced at the press conference where year-round, out-of-competition drug testing was also announced. Starting July 1st - conspicuously after the CARD OF AWESOMENESS.

McGeary won the Bellator LHW title! Ridiculously good fight, strongly recommended viewing. Newton is ridiculously tough but lacks ring intelligence, he just kept getting himself into the same situations on the ground over and over.

Daley/Santos was pretty good too.

what do they do with Rousey now though, this was her toughest test against another unbeaten fighter and she's inventing new arm bars she's never done before and submitting her in record time

I honestly don't believe there are many (if any) fighters in the UFC with the intensity and technique of Rousey, she's amazing but will suffer from having no defining fights as nobody is capable of putting a dent in her.

Dana White was comparing her to Tyson in his pomp in the press conference, its not a bad shout.

Apparently she finds it tough to make 145 sometimes so adding an extra ten pounds to lose after that seems like a tall order. The UFC has also stated numerous times that they would not make it a catchweight fight. I don't really see any challengers other than Cyborg though. Bethe Correia would just be a temporary blip on Rousey's radar and Holly Holm is nowhere near ready to face Rousey.

She's not fighting anyone. She's been allowed time off to go and shoot a movie.

You'd guess this is the start of the end for her mma career.

Cyborg doesn't want to fight Ronda, she knows she'll lose. If she loses her entire brand is ruined. While teasing at a fight she can still make money while keeping herself relevant.
If she diet properly and cut, she knows her hugest assets being strength and size would be vastly diminished. Plus Ronda is getting better and better each day that she makes anyone in her division look like amateurs.

Hendricks vs brown which should be brill!

Pettis vs Dos Anjos seems like it's pettis's fight to lose.

The rest look crap but those three should be exciting.

Watched the countdown for brown v hendricks.

The main thing seemed to be about hendricks putting on more muscle as hes had some horrible weight cuts.

New looking johnny hendricks maybe?

I'm doubting it tbh, the dude clearly likes a good bbq.
