YOUR Rockband

Guitar Heroine

Recommended Posts

As NoVisAnime has pointed out, Rock Band is being completely localised for Japan, so now I can post J-rock tracks and have an excuse :(

RB2/RB1 Dlc:

Stereophonics - Bartender and the Thief

Queen - Don't Stop me Now

The Offspring - All I want

Rainbow - Since You've been Gone

Black Sabbath - Iron man (would probably be a cover though)

Rock Band Japan Edition:

X Japan - Kurenai, Silent Jealousy (both have epic drumming)

Do as Infinity - Summer Days, Kagaku no yoru or Tooku Made

L'arc~en~ciel - 4th Avenue Cafe, Vivid Colors or Route 666

Asian kung-fu generation - Haruka kanata

High and Mighty Color - Ichirin no Hana

Would be surprised if there was no Dir En Grey on the Japanese release.

I'd like to see some of Glay, Polysics and Plus Tech Squeezebox too.

Primus - Winona's Big Brown Beaver

It'd be really fucking hard, like. Still would be amazing.

Also, seen as they have fulfilled one of my two childhood fantasies in letting me be the drummer on In Bloom how about they let me do the intro to Scentless Apprentice. Just to complete the set.

Expanding on my previous post:

(the video is the best I can find)

(both for the female vocals and the guitar)

Rockin' the Suburbs - Ben Folds (the vid is slightly censored but it would need to be for Rock Band anyway)

Music is my Hot Hot Sex - Cansei de Ser Sexy (vocals would be brilliant, until they go all monoglot-killing Portuguese at the end)

(brilliant song, only bad thing about this in Rock Band would be that the awesome video would be lost)

The Ocean Road - Runrig (this would need a fifth instrument - 'cigarette lighter'; also the album version is 4 minutes shorter)

(need more Killers in these games, not just WYWY)

(One of the only DC songs that would be suitable, and it's a good 'un)

The Jessica Numbers - The New Pornographers (Stomping good song, but I can't find a decent video)

Labyrinthian Pomp - Of Montreal (best video I can find, ironically enough it's of someone playing the drums along to it, and the vocals would be fun as hell)

Airbag - Radiohead (oh you all know this one)

(captivating song)

(not the most guitar-driven of songs in parts, but it's beautiful stuff)

(short and sweet)

My First Wedding - The Wombats (catchy pop-rock stylings)

In Your Honor - Foo Fighters (unsure on this one but I reckon there should be some Foo Fighters in here somewhere)

Cassandra Gemini - The Mars Volta (Tier 9 EVERYTHING, 30 minutes long - technically 8 songs if you want to get pedantic about it, because the label refused to release an album with 'only' 6 songs on it, so Cassandra Gemini was split up. Also I've linked to the first part of a live version, but Jesus it sounds awful and atonal until about 45 seconds in)

And for a bonus...

Bowie - Flight of the Conchords
