Pixar Announce Future Slate

At last year’s D23, Pixar revealed that the plot would follow a world of “suburban fantasy,” populated by beings of fantasy stories like trolls, elves, centaurs and more. In this world, machines take the place of magic — so elves use cell phones and centaurs eat fast food. Instead of being mysterious, glamorous creatures, unicorns are racoon-like pests. Anthropomorphic trees grow in the middle of parking lots.

The plot will follow two teenage elf brothers (presumably voiced by Pratt and Holland) as they embark on a quest to see if there’s any magic left in the world.

“At Pixar we try to create stories that come from some kind of personal truth,” said director Dan Scanlon (Monsters University) in a press release. “This film was inspired by my own relationship with my brother.”

Holy shit - wait a sec - is Lotso actually John Lasseter? A seemingly-nice-at-first bear who, um, LOVES hugs but turns out to be a scheming scumbag who is shown to be this way because he feels rejected by his girl.

Like Lord Farquad being based upon Michael Eisner in Shrek.
