Is that a PS2 slim? I might be interested in that and possibly the PS4. I could probably get someone to pick it up from you (someone I know lives in Nottingham and regularly comes up to Liverpool for the match)

Yeah it’s a chipped PS2 slim. Got a fat wallet of CD-Rs I’d chuck in too!

The Xbox is fucked unfortunately, it’s getting binned. Black GC is fine though, I don’t have a video cable for it, but power and controller are fine. Does £45 including postage seem fair?

So, my favourite fantasy book dealer dad was at the car boot again. He’s basically the dad of someone probably on this forum selling his Son’s worldly possessions because he’s now married and living in Canada. He had some pretty rare PS1 stuff out today and he told me he had left the ‘manga’ stuff at home, he name dropped Suikoden II… I’ll be back next time for sure!

 

Anyway, I got a few more game books from him today, I was actually after these which was nice

Mine too is in the loft. It's also the only console I've ever repaired. The power supply had packed up. I picked up a replacement for about a tenner and it was an almost disappointingly easy job to replace. Couple of hex screws and it's essentially just a PC inside.

 

I haven't played it anywhere near enough. I was put off by the massive Xbox pads, not realising that there were smaller ones. And I had two of them. I'm not even sure I have a way to play it now

Found a near mint condition unboxed ps2 slim in the one near me with a load of buzz tat for £50. Reads dvds but doesn’t read cds. Have ordered a new laser from fleabay, looks like a 5 minute job to replace it. 
 

buzz tat and rubbish games are off to cex, the unit I’ll use as a dvd player on holiday.
