I would have kept mine since they're from my childhood. But they're been in the attic, pages were yellow but I was really scared of book mites. So they had to go, otherwise I would have kept them myself.

To be clear, the shop was open and had stock out front. I picked up the tub and went to the counter to ask what they wanted for the whole lot. Really enjoyed replaying them again, still died before completing many of them.

I bought a full set off someone on here for about £100, probably about 10 years ago. I remember sitting in the car opening up the box and looking at the covers and whatnot. Good money for them on ebay now but I'm keeping them in case my niece or nephew turn out to be cool. 

 

actually I think I bought it again digitally in a humble bundle at some point as well along with a load of other Koike. Presumably around the time he passed away.

I’ve got that bundle too. I’d have thought with the new collected editions that the value would dropped? I’ll consider selling but imagine my apathy and laziness will win the day, again.

So, as of yesterday, I had a GameCube and a couple of OK games. Not a great collection in any way, but you know, nice to have one of my favourite systems.

 

24 hours later, after a brief chat with a mate and a very lucky find on Gumtree, I've got significantly more.

 

The mate gave me a purple GC and six games (notables include Metroid Prime, Sunshine and Double Dash) as well a Gameboy Player and boxed start-up disc. Refused to take any money for it.

 

This morning I picked up another (black) GC, plus another 16 games. Stand outs here include Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, the Zelda CE, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil (and REZero), Luigi's Mansion and Mario Party 5. Guy wanted £30 for the lot, I told him he was massively undercharging and offered £100 - he refused, but eventually accepted £60 for the lot. 

 

So yeah! Now I've got the makings of a really nice collection, plus a couple of extra GameCubes I can experiment putting a Picoboot into. Considering GC stuff is rare as heck over here in Northern Ireland, I'm very happy indeed.

Ventured to a distance boot Saturday, was pretty awful to be honest. No gaming or anything interesting except for a bag marked "Remote control car parts".... £20

 

It needs a *lot* of work. Looks to have been heavily customised with metal parts and fibre glass chassis

If the PS3 is one of the early ones with PS2 compatibility, you'd be mad not to stick it on ebay. Up to £90 straight off the bat.

Check out CEX prices too - they’d need to test they turn on but the prices aren’t awful. Obviously individual bundles will get you most via eBay. Remember that individual controllers can net you good money too - so have a think before bundling too much all together if you want to maximise your money.

If the black GC has a digital port I'd be interested in buying it. Possibly the Xbox too. I couldn't collect though due to distance.
