Well, that sort of went okay? Most of us ended up in a party around 8pm, with a couple of other people who didn't sign up (and in one case, really didn't like MLG games at all). Sorry for not inviting Mr Do (if you were online) and Yonez.

Good games though, probably the best customs I've played on Halo 3 since release. Like beejay said, the modified Snowbound turned out really well in the end, as did most of the MLG maps. Crazy King on Construct was a bit messy mind you, but only because weapon spawns had been changed and I couldn't find any.

But yeah, really good fun. :lol:

Well, for one thing there are only two power weapons on Construct, so you weren't missing much. And the other was that I was getting sick of having the piss taken out of me when I explained the maps and settings before every game, so halfway through trying to describe where rockets were I gave up.

MLG King on Construct is my favourite gametype at the moment. Love the sightlines to the hill positions. It's really well thought-through.

Was I the first person to realise there was a laser on the ghost spot on MLG snowbound or was everyone else ignoring it? It must have been about half way through the game when I picked it up. I hadn't seen anyone with it up until that point.

I had it and heard a "what the fuck, where's that laser com....... urgh" as I scampered towards their base ;)

Onslaught is the new name for MLG 2base, a small Foundry forged map. It's decent for Team Slayer but excellent for touch-return (well, almost) flag-at-home CTF. You can get it from the MLG Gametypes fileshare, it's part of the official v4 settings.

I have a few really good MLG-style forged Foundry maps that I'd like to play (Reverence, Hangout, Lockdown, Legacy, and Dome, if you want to look them up). Would anyone be up for some MLG customs?

If we only get 4 people, there's also a very small 2-base CTF/slayer map I want to try. It reminds me a bit of Battle Creek, and it's called Abodes.

Tuesday or Wednesday at 8pm? Anyone?

Might be able to make either Tue or Wed but probably only from 9. Will look to see who's on then.

My favourite was MLG Dome v3. It's got some really nice sight lines, but I thought 2v2 wasn't really enough people for the map. Classic CTF on it would be great.

that was a pretty good map actually. it really is only big enough for 4 though, which didn't help when i jumped in!
