It depends on the type of guard.

In Dance With The Devil, the parking lot security guards are all on the same channel, and the Hell guards are on another, with the Heaven guards on yet another channel.

Similarly, in The Murder of Crows, if you alert the crows at the albino's hideout, the crow who is in the hotel you start off in will come running to where they've been alerted. Because the radio alerts everyone of that guard type.

But not, in this case, the policemen in the streets.

Yeah, that makes sense too. I was just playing around on Dance With The Devil. It does seem like the three floors are separate. If you alert the heaven or hell guards in the parking lot, the ones in the clubs won't know. I love blatantly killing guards with booming desert eagles, yet when the cavalry comes running, I'm standing there all innocent and they just look around in confusion.

I was just having fun on A New Life, taking pot shots at FBI agents with the M4 from the neighbour's treehouse. About ten agents came legging it round to get me, but as I'd dropped the M4 and no-one had actually identified me, I was able to just walk out past them and into the target house unchallenged.

I like the idea of the different classes of guard only communicating within their own group. Didnt someone mention they tried to play to 'guard groups' off against each other but it didnt work? Would be a good addition to the next game, set someone up and avoid getting your hands dirty!

Yes, it would be great to be able to frame people. The South African arms dealer on House Of Cards, for example, can be framed by planting a bomb in his case and letting him delivery it. Doesn't work though.

If you have cops and henchmen on the same level, it would be superb to be able to start a shooting war between the two sides and escape in the confusion.

I tested this on Dance With The Devil. I let a security guard see me carrying the M4, and he put his finger to his ear. Then everyone came running - securty, hell bouncers and heaven bouncers, all gunning for me.

I'm trying to find a good way through House of Cards atm, I've taken out the Afrikaana and other guy in the lifts but not sure on the sheikh. Phone him from the hotel room and then snipe? Up close and personal with poison / wire? Or are there any accidents you can rig?

I'm a tad stuck on this one and really don't want to have to use GameFaqs incase I read more than I need to.

I'm sure there is no way to quietly take him our without using the scientist's mobile phone. He won't move from the spot otherwise, and is surrounded by guards.

The only other way to take him out is to plant a mine in the Schmutz's case and let Schmutz deliver the case, but of course there will be collateral damage.

my SA run for the Vegas hotel mission:

i went straight to the south african guy's room, waited in his closet then poisoned him (the first time he goes to his room, if you do it the second time, you'll get rumbled), took the case down dressed as him, made the deal, followed the sheikh outside, poison'ddd! then couldn't figure out how to get to the 8th floor, so i just popped the scientist from a balcony window with a silenced pistol.

I had a pretty funny moment on House of Cards last night.

I had done the deal with the Shiek and offed him while he had a smoke...then I had to think of a way to off the scientist. So I went up to my room (47s room that is) to have a look at my options. I jumped over from my balcony to the trellis balcony and suddenly my threat level was in the red. On checking my map the scientist had seen me from his window and was sprinting towards the lift, he came down a floor and ran RIGHT INTO MY ROOM! So I hopped back onto my balcony ran inside and shot him!

Oh how we laughed! Got silent assassin as well ;)

I had Blood Money on loan from a friend before on the 360. Liked the idea, but I kept trying to get everything right and just kept getting caught or dying. So I gave up for a little while

I recently bought it (for £10) on account of this thread.

It is magnificent. It is one of the most special, intelligent games (not the AI, or the system, but the way it makes you feel smart) ever to grace a system. The levels after the first proper one, are incredible. Theres just so much in them to make them all believable locations. Room after room, lots of NPC's, lots of options and possibilites and the feeling you get when you pull off a perfect hit and walk away from the location. Immense.

Just did the "playboy" level and looking forward to the rest of it.

you don't need any weapons to SA Amendment XXV.....

drop a mine on your first trip through where the albino stands. blow it up when he starts shooting. doesn't ruin your rating since he is pegged as the assassin anyway since he killed the caretaker.

Do you mean the outside part, just behind where the scaffolding is? Haven't gone back to this to clear or normal yet, have been trying to cheap some Expert SA ratings (Hooray for cheap levels!)
