I'd never heard of this until I saw the link at AICN. Looks pretty run of the mill until Neeson gets on the phone and suddenly you're thinking "Neeson as a bad motherfucker?!" and then you're remembering him pissed off in Darkman....

This could work. Neeson's daughter is kidnapped, except they appear to have underestimated who Neeson is. I have no idea who he is or what his special skills are, but I'd like to see what kind of damage he can do.

Oh and did I mention Famke Jennsen?

Wait, I see Valance on the cast, hopefully she's just candy and doesn't speak. I enjoyed Banlieue 13, this goes on my list.

The film looks quite good and I always like seeing Neeson in more action packed roles. Apart from the freerunning sections Banlieue 13 was a bit crap so hopefully this has a better script.

I've thought this for a while. Both him and Ralph Fiennes would make great Bonds.

Nah, he'd be a rubbish Bond really imo.

However, he'd make a great Bond nemesis. Make him a sort of older 00 agent who now crossed over from MI6 with all his knowledge to work as an overpaid henchman/assassin for SPECTRE, keep him running through more than one movie with a complete backstory that unfolds over a couple of movies, now that, that is where he'd be great, again all imo.

Yeah, I was thinking that. They have certainly removed a lot of the suspense from the first clip shown a few weeks ago. Still looks good, but it feels like they've given half the plot away in those new clips.

Well it's most likely going to be pretty average so I don't want any impact ruined by some clips put together by a guy in a suit trying to sell it too me, I'm already sold.

To warm myself up for this movie I'm going to watch Next of Kin again instead.

It's very good. After a couple of short scenes to establish everything, it's non-stop ruthlessness from Neeson's character. Quite a short film and they don't waste any of the time.
