"That's just two players going hard at it".

Erm, I think Farrell gets a rough time of it but at full speed that looked late, leading with a shoulder, and eyes off the ball. Anyone else?

Obviously I missed the first half because I was working. So glad I managed to catch us getting a fucking kicking though.

The commentators were actually saying he was defending himself. Was absolute nonsense, he was the guy charging into a player with no intention or chance of blocking the ball. Every single game he does something pretty disgraceful, which is a shame as he’s a decent player.

Just got home, what a game, what a stadium, what a win and what a day couldn't imagine a better day.

I can't even begin to explain the sound in the principality stadium, I've never felt anything like that in my life.

You are Welsh I think? So congratulations.

I'm Scottish and we drew yet still retained the Culcutta cup.

I think we both had a good day

Cyrmu am byth!!!

What a great couple of games. Wales were brilliant but Ireland lost the plot. Lovely to see Anscombe looking comfortable at last, this will really give him the confidence to kick on.

Disappointing to see Sexton sulk his way through the game and I thought they should have subbed him early but it wouldn’t have mattered. I do wonder though if Ireland will regret insisting on having the roof open, they just had so many handling errors and turnovers at important times.

The England Scotland game was hugely entertaining, at least as a neutral(ish). I do hope this shuts Eddie Jones up for a while though.

Yes, he seems to get better and better and leadership is clearly second to none.

I wonder what he will do after the world cup. I haven’t heard any talk of retirement but will he want to start over again with the new coaching team. Does he fancy one more lions tour?...

I can't see him carrying on after the world cup, how long can your body keep up at that level and at his age? Most players are carrying 4-6 injuries that are waiting on becoming major problems and that starts in their 20s, he's in his late 30s now.

He's 33. Looks older/seems to have been around for ever.

Sorry, yes actually,  that being the more important takeaway. Suppose (eventual)  fair play to RA for standing up against it at the 2nd time of asking.

i'd imagine some of the local  RWNJs will denounce RA for  punishing Folau and suppressing free hate speech.

Billys statement on the matter:

So this morning I got three phone calls from people telling me to 'unlike' the Izzy Folau post," he wrote. "This is my position on it. I don't HATE anyone, neither do I think I'm perfect. "There just comes a point when you insult what I grew up believing in that you just say enough is enough - what he's saying isn't that he doesn't like or love those people. "He's saying how we live our lives needs to be closer to how God intended them to be. Man was made for woman to procreate, that was the goal no? "I'm not perfect - I'm at least everything on that list at least at one point in my life. It hurts to know that. But that's why I believe there's a God. To guide and protect us and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."

I guess he is going to try to argue that his hate speech is not actually hate speech, but just a reflection of his religious views and you can't fire someone for having religious views. The frightening thing is that maybe that argument will fly in Australian courts, who knows?

If you espouse religious views publicly does that cross into another area that wouldnt be protected by religious freedom laws?

Maybe its not illegal as such but what he said is really something to be kept private. His lack of awareness is as criminal as what he said.
