I can't wait for 8pm tonight, the best part of the year kicks off quite literally, really looking forward to the Wales V England game as me and 9 of my friends are off to Jersey for the weekend to watch it.

I think it'll come down to Wales v Ireland as the last game of the tournament decider.

Saw the headline (something about England having to deal with Ireland's aerial threat) and thought this was going to be a typically stupid piece about England's big guys versus the Irish up and under, but actually thought this column was pretty darned good:

Congrats Scotland, looking a bit loose in defence at the end but a comfortable win.

I.T fucking V now and it's shitty coverage, soon as I turn over some knobhead is talking about the English rugby team should put fairy liquid on the ball to stop Ireland passing it, it's beyond abysmal.

Ireland have been too good recently, England too bad. We're at home. Even after beating New Zealand, this feels like a classic case of getting set up for a fall.

If we get through this I'd fancy us a lot more.

Nailed it. This result is brought to you by every shit take about how we've moved past choking at big moments thanks to uncle Joe.

Straight under pressure to defeat a very decent Scotland side too.

First half on Sco v Ire was amazing, pity Scotland made so many mistakes 2nd half but Irelands def at the end of the 1st was immense.

On a side note, i bloody wish Scotland would ditch our anthmn "Flower of Scotland". Loch Lomond or Scotland the brave is what people think of when they think of Scotland. Both are fun and uplifting not some balls about sending Edwards army away to think again.

You could say the same for Englands, it's horribly violent, imperialistic and isn't very favourable to its neighbours.

Can't say much about Wales, the 10 changes really showed and they looked mediocre, Italy looked pretty good to be honest but a wins a win.

Enjoyed the Scotland Ireland game, but Ireland aren't going to trouble the top of the table or the business end of the World Cup on the basis of that performance. We were lucky that Scotland's finishing is still so poor so often.

Bit disappointing to see the Scottish captain blaming the ref afterwards. Also, I remember when I was growing up the Scottish fans were the only ones to jeer the opposing place kicker. I think there is a bit of it at every ground now but I also noticed it a lot during the match yesterday. Scotland have an exciting team right now but sour grapes and unsporting fans don't make it easy for neutrals to root for them.

Can anyone explain what France are trying to do? I can't figure what they're attempting with their plays. Their forwards look slow, have no aggression in contact and the less said about the backs the better, I have no idea what's going through Morgan Parras head most the time, he just seems to be randomly kicking or throwing the ball about.
