i meant the voiceover flashback. it's just something i expect from a lesser show like Dexter.

Funnily enough, The Wire popped into my head as soon as I saw that. David Simon, in a commentary or interview or something, said they never used flashbacks since the first episode because the audience should remember what has happened.

True enough. I remembered. But it's just like the close up of the lilly last season, really.

Does anyone else think the intro song to Breaking Bad is... how can I put this... awful?

I love that it's so short though. It was only recently I realised that nearly 38% of The Wire's 68 hours are its intro sequences.

It's not really noticeable because it's so short and now it's just something which you associate with BB - whilst I like how the Wire's tune is a different version every season (I always sing to it.)

Could they finish it with CGI Cranston? Or the last episode could be like a Cassette Boy mashup of clips of Walt from all previous episodes. He'll be facing down Hank in the last scene, with his epic y-fronts and 'tache from episode one.

I reckon they could still make a half a decent show. Jesse and Hank could each have their own little missions to track down a suddenly disappeared Walt. Most of the show would just be close ups of their faces as they discover the horrible things he's done.

RIP Cranston :(
