No, but every time I see that vent open I'm expecting it to be empty.

Either she's seen what's in the vent or she's still pissed about the additional phone. She's a pretty stubborn character so I'm going with the latter for now.

I think 2x05 is a new high point for this show. It’s an absolute gem of an episode.

I don’t think there’s been a show as beautifully shot since Six Feet Under. The camera angles, the lighting, the quick jumps (

like in the doctors office at the start when he asks Walter how him and his wife are doing and the shot jumps to Walt sitting beside an empty chair

), the wilderness shots. Top class.

Lots of very interesting developments this episode. I love the contrast between Hank and Walter. How Hank is all Vic Mackey swagger on the surface but having some kind of post traumatic breakdown while Walter, who has been through much worse, is a total ice-man. Based on the last scene next week will be another killer episode.

I dunno, I thought it seemed out of place to the rest of the show. I felt from what I knew of Walt as a character was that he didn't make careless judgements, it's a bit odd that he just decided to say "handle it" instead of (what I was expecting) "use protection next time". I thought the episode dragged to be honest.

Just watched 2x06. For me this is the best show on TV right now.

I'm always a bit disappointed when we don't get any scenes with Walter and Jesse, but that's a minor point.

Edit.

2 things I read on the TWOP forums that I didn't pick up watching the show.

- Jesse's mate squashing the insect at the start forshadowing the death of the drug addict.

- Walts story about the scientist who invented the artificial diamond and then getting shafted by GE kind of mirrors his experiance with Gretchn and Elliot whose initials are G+E.

I just started watching Series 1 of this so I'm skipping the thread for fear of spoilers - but it's really rather good isn't it?

It would have been so easy to pussyfoot around the issues but it largely meets them straight-on - and the 'eBay auction and a hand shandy' scene is probably the most fundamentally honest TV scene of the 21st century

Myself and dork knight were discussing BB on Saturday. We came to the decision its not only brilliantly written and acted, but possibly the best directed show on TV currently. The style of the show, the colour, the placement of the camera's. All excellent

I just finished S1 and I'm going from "this is really quite good" to "this is the most original TV series I've seen in a LOOOONG time".

Every minute I watched just piled up the amaze - how it manages to switch from methlabs to school classrooms to someone pissing blood to a baby shower to chemotherapy to people being dissolved in acid to dodgy sex in a dodgier Pontiac to the 'talking pillow' - without pussyfooting about in any way - and still makes you laugh like mad 30 seconds later, I've no idea - I really did not think there were people this smart writing for TV (or anywhere - really).

You can put BB into the same sentence as Deadwood, Sopranos, The Wire, Mad Men and not be ashamed - easily - top, top TV...

I just watched all of S1 during the weekend. Great show!

I see in the beginning of this thread there should be censored nudity and swearing. I watched the HD rips (from HDBits) that aired on FX HD and didn't notice any of this. Would this have been even further censored versions (with those scenes cimply cut)? It was still gory enough in placed though.

I'll start with series 2 tonight. How many episodes this season?

The new episode's opening scene - what the fucking fuck.

I read an article about that type of song before. There's loads of bands from Mexico who specialise in ballads about drug dealers and gangsters.

Man alive,

I jumped out of my skin when the tortise blew up.

Was that Danny Trejo playing the snitch? Amazing show. Every week it gets more and more tense.
