I see what you mean but I'd rather have 1.5 (a continuation) than a totally new series which entirely forgets the previous which so many TV shows do.

Fucking excellent, exactly what I wanted to see.

It does seem like they may have filmed this already though, with views to add it as a next episode - only they didn't show it due to the strike.

Yeah, the 3 episodes were more of an ending to last season rather than a start for season 2. Episode 3 had a very 'season finale' feel to it, wrapping up most of the stuff that had occured in the past 4 or 5 eps, with episode 4 being the 'true' season 2 opener.

Anyway, all 3 episodes were incredible. Great to have this back. The cinematography at times can be breathtaking.

Now, the long wait for episode 4 begins. ^_^

Started watching this yesterday on a reccomendation from a friend.

Goddamn it's good, just about to watch the season finale, badass Walt in episode six was a bit of a shocker, but played out amazingly. His reaction when he gets back to the station wagon with the bag of money is...wow.

Right, season finale time!

Just watched S02E01.

Wonderful. Exactly what I wanted to see. This television series is so, so beautiful.

I would hunt out the other two, but what is the schedule like? If I watch the next two now, am I going to be waiting three weeks for the next episode?

Had no idea episodes 2 and 3 were already out until I read your post. Shibby!

Agreed, it was bloody awesome. So was episode 3 - really well put together apart from two things that bugged me: we never saw Walt pick up his keys and wallet from the table in Tuco's uncle's house when they left meaning Walt could have easily been found out and also, Hank knew that Jesse & Walt were still keeping touch but he didn't think to put 2+2 together when they both went missing at the exact same time?

Apart from those little goofs it was spectacular, best TV show since Weeds & The Sopranos.

Just watched episode 2, I'm going to try and keep episode 3 for next week and draw this series out.

Anyway, how amazing were those scenes out in the desert? The 4 performaces were just perfect, even the old timer was great (he was Mr. Napa in Oz, right?). And how on Earth can the sound of a bell ringing be so tense?

What a show.

One small thing. How did Hank track the car down out in the desert?

I was wondering how he found the car? Isn’t Tucos shack meant to be way out in the desert? Did it have a gps set-up or something?

After reading a bit about this Hank mentions that he thinks the car might be fitted with LoJack. It must have been and that's how they tracked it.

Also, how amazing was it making one of their adverseries a disabled man whose only weapon was a bell? Incredible.

But I still bring to the table Walt's wallet, I mean come on!

After inspecting their wallets, Tuco (sp?) definitely gives them back to both characters. You actually see them putting them back in their pockets.

I can't remember them being got out any other times during the episode, either.

Ah you're correct ;)

3 seconds of Walt recovering his wallet proves this, fucked if I saw it the first time though.

Good detective work Heath

-

So now, I'm gonna' move onto something else that pissed me off - why did he leave the M16 on the gear stick to rely on something random, instead of taking it with him and shooting that mother fucker right in the forehead?

Another cracking ep, a lot more quieter than the last 3 but I guess it was so they could rebuild the characters relationships & move on with the next step of the story.

I fucking love this show. Will miss it when it ends and it inevitably has to soonish due to Walt's cancer.
