Breaking Bad

Recommended Posts

Really hope this turns into a tedious and endless discussion about whether this will be good or not, or can be good, or if there is a history of anything being good, or maybe it will because here's one example, or nah, that's a bad example and it'll be bad again, for five fuckin years until this is released.

Is this the end of the golden age of TV Drama and a new golden age of Cinema Drama?

It's kind of ironic that Netflix and Amazon Prime have taken what would have been enough plot/storyline to make a decent couple of films into 10 episodes of paper thin plot (Stranger Things to some extent, definitely Maniac), because everyone was jumping on the TV Drama series bandwagon after Breaking Bad, Mad Men etc.

And now we have Breaking Bad becoming a film, because the quality of TV Dramas is getting worse.

The quality of TV dramas is getting worse? I think it's been pretty damn consistent for a very, very long time now. Proper golden age of telly.

Hell yes, and hopefully it'll include Combo before he met his unfortunate end.

So this is going to be a follow up from the end of the show and follow Jesse.

Do we want/need this? I'm pretty sure everyone eas satifyed with Jesse's ending and we were left with hope for him

Also, whats the bet that

Spoiler

they resurrect Walt. With the the way it ended, you could easily say he's still alive and that paramedics managed to save him. He's just lying there with his eyes open, and it's never confirmed if he's dead or alive.

Spoiler

The teaser could end with a slow zoom towards his face as he lays on the floor, his eyes open, BOOM! END OF TEASER!

It will probably be good but it does sound like a bit of a cash-in.

Is Better Call Saul good now? I dropped it in season 1, was so, so slow.

Better Call Saul is probably one of the best dramas on TV. The latest season was really great.

Apparently there's a reference or two in The Walking Dead to Breaking Bad. In that case, this must be the canonical movie bridging the gap of how Walt's blue meth triggered the zombie apocalypse. :omg:

Considering the Walking Dead movie announcement, a WD prequel crossover where policeman Rick arrests Jesse and dumps his entire stash into a local reservoir ?

I'm hoping they've found a window in the TV series where its concievable that Walt, Jessie, Saul and Mike could all go off for a week and have an adventure where they go on a cruise ship holiday that turns out to be haunted and then Jessie is the exact double for someone leading to a mix up with a suitcase and then a car chase (and one of them finds love).
