You may have heard of Halo2.Junk.ws, a stat aggregator for Halo 2. The same guys recently launched the Halo 3 version, Halo3.Junk.ws.

Basically it grabs the match information from Bungie.net, and compiles it into interesting reports. New graphs and comparisons are added all the time, and it's a really useful one-page summary of your performance with different weapons, maps, and gametypes.

For example, here are my stats, wherein you can see that I am rubbish at Halo despite playing for over 110 hours. There are still a few thousand games missing, but the sooner you sign up, the sooner your stats will be up to date.

I was having this conversation with a friend the other night - due to matchmaking most players will be around or near the 1.0 k/d ratio after your skill has balanced out. The longer you play for the closer it should get, in theory. Hence - as far as I can see - how good you are is reflected more by your Skill level in game than by stats. This is my excuse for being average in most games I play, anyway.

Cue someone coming in and telling me how shortsighted I'm being, yet again!

Those stats are mental, though. It's unbelievable how much is recorded, constantly. I wish it did the same for CoD4! Be good to see on a huge scale which weapons beat which.

I'd like to see some stats where it shows what weapon your enemy had when you killed them and vice versa. Be great to know what you should avoid when dual wielding spikers, when you can afford to be a bit more aggressive and whatnot.

do you happen to know how long it takes before they get most/all of your games on there

It got about 1/3 of mine overnight, and after a week it's now up to 3/4 or so.

I'm not sure why this would be useful. You can use the Bungie.net career stats to see which weapons you were most killed by.

But which weapons to avoid depends on so many other things that stats won't help. Where you are on the map, where the enemy is, how far to the nearest cover, what your teammates are doing...
