Yes, they showed pre-rendered trailers and all the footage was really blurry.

For that old gears of war trailer, they said 'Poor Marcus could do with a lie down after all that running.'

And then Athlete expressed their disappointment that no one had cheered for Gears of War, wondering why that was. Probably because it came out a year ago I think...

You remember when [.tv] was going down the tubes and they ditched all their normal programming in favour of dabs.com advertainment? That's what this is. I can't imagine how they could've spent any more money and made a show with any less relevance to gamers.

Vic Reeves is perhaps the worst autocue reader I've ever seen. The whole show was a joke. From little things like showing the PC version of Gears of War every time they mentioned the 360 game to having a feature supposedly on online multiplayer games and showing Wii Sports and Guitar Hero II. I can't remember watching the proper BAFTAs but I very much doubt they're of the same shoddy quality. Hardly putting video games on the same level as TV and movies is it.
