Hi guys.

Just a quick message to let you know that there's a tiny chance I won't be able to make Thursday due to circumstances out of my control. Our broadband has been cut off - due to non-payment since August! We had no idea due to the fact that the missus' work pay for it rather than us, but a payment is going to be made tomorrow and service is usually reinstated within 24 hours after a payment is made, so fingers crossed everything should be ok.

I figured I should let everyone know at least, though.

Next week's fixture is Team BUMS. I can't play on Wednesday night. For me, suitable start times are:

Friday: 8pm--midnight

Saturday: 11am--midnight

Sunday: 11am--9pm

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 7pm--10pm

Once everyone else has posted their availability, can someone please post in the BUMS thread to arrange a game? I nominate jon.

We've arguably won by default if they don't respond to us by the end of today. I don't want that to happen, and I think this is the first match we've had that could be close. But if the dudes don't reply soon I don't know what else to do.

ok, i've had a look and they've all been on the forum at some point in the last few days. it seems they're not up to giving us an answer, but i'll give it until midnight tonight (12am, sun 25th) at the latest for an answer. if we don't get a response by then i reckon we should win by default. shameful on their part, but what else can we do?

It's not really up to us to decide whether or not we win by default, it's up to the tournament organisers. In this case obviously I can't make that decision, and arguably neither can Panda, so it's down to Kryptonian.

Realistically if we don't get a response soon, we're not likely to be able to organise the game, for the reasons posted in their thread. Then Krypt will decide who is most at fault.

Sorry guys our Grandama's died and our dog ate the halo discs. We couldn't afford to buy new copies of Halo because we spent it all on booze (and mass effect).

Truthfully, we tried to play Halo but after CoD4 and TF2 we can see how horribly slow and clunky Halo3 multiplayer is. So yeah, we're out, sorry about that.

No-one gets points, the team who beat them loses their win points, and our next match is in week 5 and will be announced on Wednesday
