Disabled everything and managed to get it to run in Opera. Not a bad episode but wonder how many people managed to watch this week if its playing up like that.

You must be doing something terribly wrong. I use Firefox on XP with both adblock AND noscript and the ZP vids work fine. You probably need update something.

Everythings updated to the hilt and even tried disabling all the add ons to no effect. Had exactly the same trouble with IE yet everything was working fine last week when I watched only thing I've managed to get work on so far is Opera.

Oh, I like Yahtzee. No doubt about that. But this sounded like a stand-in.

Considering the positive nature of the piece, I'm almost tempted to brand this an 'infomercial'. Seriously, the voice-thing is noticeable enough to warrant some kind of explanation somewhere, imo.

Come on guys, it's pretty obvious, do you not listen to Podcasts? He's probably just using a new microphone. 'Stand-in' :lol:

Unless he's upgrading from Consolevania-style equipment, I can't imagine a new mic having that much impact.

Definitely someone else, unless his previous voice was a put-on.

Well it is a put-on to some degree, you can hear how he sounds different in the terrible Game Damage stuff, although it's mostly speed, but also some of the tone.

To my ears it definitely sounds like him, perhaps he was ill.

Really, listen to it again, it has his distinctive markers.

Who even cares anymore if he's right or wrong about a game? Given that he hates pretty much nearly everything bar a few exceptions he's bound to slam a game or fifty we all love. Just enjoy the rants! That's what they are (for the most part), not reviews, don't get confused
