The Escapist: Zero Punctuation

As pointed out in this thread an individual by the name of Yahtzee Croshaw has started doing a quite amusing flash animation series about... whatever he feels like addressing at the time.

His focus this week is Psychonauts, so while I considered adding it to the end of that thread, this is apparently going to be a weekly thing (every Wednesday) on that site so I'll start a new thread for it.

IMO it started out a little slower than his Darkness & Fable reviews but it rapidly picked up towards the end & i'll certainly be keeping an eye on this site to see what he's got lined up for next week & whether he can keep up good work.

This weeks edition: Console Rundown

Where he rips into all 3 consoles equally.

I'm not sure how long I should continue linking to this, as most people who like it will probably have it bookmarked already, plus the fact that as amusingly as it's presented this is still just this ones guy's opinion.

Probably the weakest so far, but with the odd chuckle.

He's better when he's ripping something to bits.

He says as much in this weeks contribution. Fortunately there's always something to rip into in the Game Industry, if not the game then how it's marketed, received, etc so that should keep him happy.

I hope he genuinely believes it when he does attack a game though, I'm sure he's receiving tonnes of hate e-mail from the Bioshock fans right at this moment.

Then again, that could be just what he needs to fuel his vitriol fires. :)

I absolutely love British humour, sarcastic, dry or otherwise.

Someone cracked me up in Vegas the other day, where he came running around a corner, only to be greeted by another team-mate's friendly fire. "Oh, hello!" he said in a dry, cheerful tone. Had me in stitches, that.
