just out of interest... would it be possible to creat a sat nav add on for the DS?

Yes. There was talk of one for the PSP so cant see why the DS couldnt manage it. The brains of the piece would be in the cart/add on so to speak.

I reckon a GPS module would be a massive hit. You can pick up a bluetooth GPS receiver for under £50, so the parts can't be that expensive.

In car navigation - Sell a bundle which contains the GPS module in the GBA cart, the mapping software on the DS cart, and it comes with a mounting bracket for your car.

Games - Take out the mapping card and slot in a game one. I think Gizmondo were actually on to something with the idea of sticking a GPS module into a handheld games console. Turf wars, stuff like that.
