I may not have remembered this properly:

"And your nickname for hamburgers is steamed hams."

"Yes."

"Even though these are quite obviously grilled."

Love that bit.

That entire segment is quite possibly the best few minutes of television comedy ever.

"Seymour, you are an odd fellow.... but you steam a good ham."

Some of my favorites have come from the "stupid crowds" of springfield;

crowd outside doctors surgery during flu epidemic.

crowd: We need a cure! We need a cure!

Hibbert: Why the only cure for flu is bed rest; anything I could give you would only be a placebo!

crowd: Where do we get these placebos!? Maybe there's some in this truck!

crowd tips over truck full of killer bees. One picks a bee out of the air and eats it.

man: I'm cured! I mean, ow!

Not a great quote, but I love the Gabbo episode, where Krusty doesn't have Itchy and Scratchy on his show anymore. The replacement cartoon is really nicely done (reminds me of the weird foreign animations they used to show at 7.30pm on BBC2 in the late 70s). And Krusty's face after the cartoon shows is fantastic.

My favouite Krusty moment is An angry, angry young man.

"Mr Simpson, don't you worry - I watched Matlock in a bar last night. The sound wasn't on, but I think I got the gist of it"

I love (and miss) Lionel Hutz even more than Troy McClure.

Hutz: Mrs Simpson, your sexual harassment case is just what I need to rebuild my shattered career! Care to join me in a belt of Scotch?

Marge: It's 9:30 in the morning!

Hutz: Yeah, but I haven't slept in days.

My favouite Krusty moment is An angry, angry young man.

"I HAVE TO STAND IN LINE WITH NOBODIES, TO BUY GROCERIES FROM A FAILURE"

"What's the difference between Pakistan and a pancake? I don't know any pancakes that were nuked by India! Hehe. What, too soon?"

More than just a quote, but the animation and the faces of the audience when he does "Me flappa dicky long time" in Last Temptation is just one the of the funniest things I've ever seen.

We have a winner. That is the funniest thing ever to appear in a Simpsons episode. I think I actually died the first time I saw it.

I also like:

Doctor: "This man has 104% body fat. Hey, no eating in the tank!"

Homer: (eating a piece of chicken) "Go to hell."

Also from the Gabbo episode, when Gabbo makes a crank call to Krusty, pretending to be from a Japanese company offering him a lucative advertising deal:

"ME RIKEY VELLY MUCH!"

I still say that now - without any racist undertones, naturellement.

Fuck me! Blood! And bullet holes!

You wouldn't see that in a Simpsons episode today [/nostalgia]

"Oh stop talking crazy!" ^_^

I think I love all of Wolfcastle's films.

Right now I'm thinking about holding another meeting…In bed.
Captain: Senator Mendoza is one of the most respected citizens in this state, McBane. And yet you ran his limo off a cliff, broke the necks of three of his bodyguards, and drove a bus through his front door?

McBane: But, Captain, I have prroof dat he is head of an international drrug cartel!

Captain: I don't want to hear it, McBane! You're outta here!

McBane: [pushes the Captain out his office window, who falls into the fountain in the plaza] Dat makes two of us.

Well well, a big muscle-bound nerd.

Grandpa: I shouldn't be listening to complaints; I should be making them with you guys! The good Lord lets us grow old for a reason: to gain the wisdom to find fault with everything He's made. Mr. Peterson, you can take this job and...fill it. And one more thing...I never once washed my hands! That's your policy, not mine!

Theres an episode where Lisa gets a crush on her substitute teacher and she meets him in the museum with Homer.

Mr Bergstrom is looking at a mummy in a glass case

Mr B: They'd pull your brain out thorugh your nose with a hook then stuff you with sawdust and onions

Lisa: eww!

Homer: Pretty creepy but i'd still rather have him chasing me than the wolfman

Lisa: Oh dear lord

Homer: I'll buy her that pony she's always bugging me for.

Marge: We can't afford to buy a pony.

Homer: Marge, with today's gasoline prices, we can't afford <not> to buy a pony.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odafKadui2A

It's the echange and smile at the end I love.

Marge: Was that a yes or a no?

Homer: Bah

Marge: Those aren't even words!

Homer: Snaf

*Smiles*
