Is that the electric car challenge?

If so did u mod it to win, interested what can actually be modded on an electric car!!!!

i did do tyres, which is all you can do. (i'd bought the car earlier for the paint chip!)

think i was in first by the third lap. you can probably win without any changes, but i didnt realise it would be quite so easy.

It's pretty cool seeing if you can do a whole lap without letting go of the accelerator trigger! But yeah it's like driving a hair dryer...

Have reached the endurance stages and em not happy. The first two are not only run with low-level cars, the rewards are fairy low-level as well. These races should be around level 10-12, so I have no idea why they are levels 25 and 26.

The 200 laps of Indy is worth it for the prize. XJ13

how is anyone ever going to do the 24 hour events? Keep the ps3 running paused and you are just decreasing its lifespan id have thought

They have to patch it to either allow saves mid race or to allow bob to take stints!

GTP forums bring up the rule that a Le-Mans driver is only allowed to do a 4 hour stint at a time....

Remote Racing (also known as GT Anywhere) will be released via update next month.

ne of the more interesting and unusual GT5 features announced before release was “Remote Races” (also known as “Gran Turismo Anywhere”), enabling you to control your B-Spec races on your PS3 from your PC or mobile device. Obviously, this was missing from the game when it shipped last November, and its future has been uncertain – despite the fact that it remains listed (with this screenshot) on Polyphony Digital’s official GT5 feature list.

Now, however, Kazunori Yamauchi has finally confirmed via Twitter the feature will be available in “early February”. It is unknown if enabling this functionality will require another update of the game, but considering v1.05 is nearly a month old already, this may be the target release date for the next revision. Regardless, though, it looks like this update won’t be coming soon enough for participants of the B-Spec-based Signature Edition Challenge.

Apologies if already posted/mentioned. :)

I got one of those from Facebook. There should be lower-level endurance races. Like maybe whn you complete all competitions in beginner, it adds two endurances. Hvaing them at what is essentially "the end" is rediculous. I could understand if the rewards were so great that putting them at lower-levels would be game-breaking, but the first couple have been rediculously easy with no reward worth talking about.

To be honest, the vast bulk of the competitions have useless prizes. I've completed up to the end of Extreme in A and B Spec and there are only four cars or so worth winning - the Mazda Furai, the Lupo Cup car, the Toyota 7 and the Minolta are the only ones I can think of right now...

I am cry. I knew I had about 2 hours Saturday morning which I could use to blast away at the Seasonal Specials. And next up was the Citroen WRC one. So I thought I'd go and take on the Loeb challenge to get the car for free...

2 hours later and I'm a frustrated shaking mess who is STILL stuck on the first challenge stage. ARGH! Just couldnt't quite get it (tried aids off and on). My best time being 2 minutes, where the time to beat (for gold) is 1:58. FFS.

*sigh*

Still, that B-Spec anywhere mode sounds good. I just hope I can control it from work too(i.e. it's bnot blocked), mind you I'll be unlikely to switch my PS3 off ever again, could be dangerous?

I didn't hate it, i quite enjoyed it in fact, it's just that it is sooo different from the other races done up to now that I couldn't adjust enough to get gold.... even after two hours!! My wife thinks I'm insane. 2 hours on one track...

Frustrating and annoying but enjoyable! ;)
